For tradies, aches, pains and injuries can sometimes feel like “part of the job”. But persistent pain, reduced movement, weakness or recurring injuries shouldn’t simply be pushed through.

This Tradies Health Month, make your physical health a priority and get checked if something doesn’t feel right.

A GP can help assess:
- Ongoing back, neck, shoulder, knee or joint pain
- Repetitive strain and overuse injuries
- Persistent muscle or tendon problems
- Work-related injuries that aren’t improving
- Changes in strength, mobility or physical function

Tradies are often great at looking after everyone else — but what about looking after yourself?

Long hours, physical demands, pressure at work, financial stress and life outside of work can all take a toll on your mental health.

Sometimes the signs aren’t obvious. You might notice:
• Feeling constantly stressed or on edge
• Irritability or a short temper
