Do you know the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer?
14,904 Australian are told they have bowel cancer each year.
Know the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer:
Blood in your poo or re**al bleeding (Bright red or very dark blood should never be ignored)
Obvious change in your bowel habit.
Weight loss you can’t explain.
Extreme tiredness for no reason.
Lump or swelling in your abdomen.
Not everyone experiences symptoms, particularly in the early stages of bowel cancer.
Don’t delay in talking to your GP if you are experiencing any of the described symptoms for two weeks or more, because when diagnosed early almost 99 percent of bowel cancer cases can be successfully treated.
Blood in your poo or re**al bleeding is not normal and should never be ignored.
