An insightful reminder that demonstrating both clinical and economic value is essential to improving access, equity, and sustainability in high-risk foot care. Thank you to the presenters for sharing practical strategies to help bridge evidence, policy, and real-world implementation.

Day 1 of LEAP26 showcased the power of innovation and collaboration in improving access to high-risk foot care.

From the inspiring lived experience presentations “Improving Charcot Neuro-osteoarthropathy Education Through the Charcot Foot Story" to practical solutions such as the Podiatry resources in the Top End - a total 🐊 ! and the Queensland Virtual Foot Hub, the sessions highlighted how education, technology, and patient-centred approaches can work together to improve outcomes. But also the need of systemic support to allow these innovations to occur!

A fantastic reminder that meaningful change happens when evidence, lived experience, and innovative models of care come together.
