Meet Mita, one of our wonderful Maternity Assistants in Nursing 💖

For 24 years, Mita has been helping families welcome their newest arrivals at St George Private Hospital. Here she is giving baby Edward, born on 31 July, one of his very first baths.

Born on the 30th of July here at St George Private Hospital, they weighed just 2104g and 2130g.

We can't get over their gorgeous outfits and matching blankets!

Our Maternity team put on their favourite denim and hosted a bake sale last week to raise vital funds for Jeans for Genes Australia 👖 💙

Their incredible efforts resulted in $2500 being raised, which was then matched by the organisation's sponsors to tally up a total of $5000.

The funds go to Children's Medical Research Institute, an organisation dedicated to finding treatments and cures for kids with birth defects or genetic disease.

Thank you to everyone who supported such a worthy cause by wearing your jeans to work and contributing to baking all the fresh goods sold on the day.
