We have a long and proud history of providing quality cancer care to our local community here at St George Private Hospital. Cancer touches all of us in some way, and for the team at our Cancer Care Centre, they see that impact on their patients every day.

Last week, we hosted Australia's Biggest Morning Tea at the hospital to contribute to funding life-saving research, support services and resources for people navigating one of the toughest challenges of their lives.

The team is very proud to have raised nearly $3000 for Cancer Council Australia this year! Well done to everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event.

Our Cardiac Services team has gone above and beyond to raise awareness for at St George Private Hospital ❤️

It all began with free blood pressure checks and heart health education for all staff and visitors in the hospital foyer.

Our teams then tapped into their competitive side to win points for their ward by participating in a cardiac quiz, educational sessions about heart health, and even had to guess who was inside our heart costume this year!

Thank you to everyone who organised and took part in such an incredible lineup of events. Your commitment to raising awareness for the Heart Foundation is truly admirable.
