🚨 Reminder: National AusAlert Test (Australia's new emergency alert system): TODAY, Monday 27 July at 2:00pm (AEST).

🤳Compatible mobile phones, tablets and smartwatches may receive a Critical Alert with a loud siren-like sound, vibration and on-screen message, even if devices are set to silent or do not disturb.

For some people, particularly those who are sensitive to loud or unexpected noises, the alert may be unsettling, and it may last for up to one hour. Families, carers and support networks may wish to discuss the test beforehand and consider any supports that may help reduce anxiety or distress.🔊

https://www.ausalert.gov.au/community-resources/disabilities-extra-support features an animation with a picture-in-picture Auslan interpreter explaining what AusAlert is and what to expect during the national test on Monday 27 July 2026.

Please see the website www.ausalert.gov.au for important safety information, including advice for people who use hidden devices for personal safety reasons.

📱 Stay informed. Stay prepared. Stay safe.

🌟 Supporting a great cause 🌟
Andy, who lives in one of our ConnectAbility Supported Independent Living homes, loves the time he spends with the Riding for the Disabled program at RDA Raymond Terrace & Lower Hunter 🐎

Now the program he’s so passionate about needs our help to keep going! RDA creates meaningful, inclusive experiences for people in our community and on 29 June (next Monday!), Andy will be taking part in the RDA Ride‑A‑Thon to help raise vital funds.

We’re proud to share Andy’s story and do our bit to support him and the local RDA.

Every contribution helps keep programs like this accessible and thriving for people like Andy, so please consider supporting this wonderful cause. Every dollar helps.💜

👉 Reminder: throughout June, for every Clarke & Co Estate Agents referral that mentions ConnectAbility, $1000 from each completed sale will be donated to support our work.

Together, we’re opening doors to brighter futures. Ryan Nichols - Clarke & Co builds more than a portfolio, he builds lifelong friendships. He says helping someone buy or sell is “probably the biggest moment in their life” - and we couldn’t agree more.

At ConnectAbility, we see that every day. For our Early Links customers on a personal level as well as the people we support moving into our 23 ConnectAbility safe Supported Independent Living homes, it is a defining moment. It’s the start of independence, confidence and belonging.

That’s why supporters like Ryan mean so much. They understand the power of home, and help us create more moments that matter. 🫶 Check out more about Nick at: www.facebook.com/share/p/14ep9qtKSGU/💜

✨ That's a wrap on our very first Little Chefs Club! ✨

Over the past 8 weeks, we've mixed, measured, chopped, stirred, tasted, laughed, and learned together 👩‍🍳

From trying new foods and building kitchen confidence to making new friends and creating delicious recipes, we have had the best time in our Learning Kitchen at Ashtonfield this term ❤️

We are so proud of how much our little chefs have grown in their cooking skills, teamwork, independence, and willingness to give new things a go. Thank you to all of our amazing families for your support, and to our wonderful little chefs for bringing so much enthusiasm, creativity, and fun to every session.

We can't wait to see what you'll cook next! 🍓🥕🍪🍕✨
