Katungul AC RH&CS was established in 1993 and aims to provide holistic and culturally appropriate health care.

Katungul currently has three clinics that offer medical, dental and specialist services; one in Narooma, Bega and Batemans Bay. Outreach programs and specialist programs are still in place to aid the Koori people.

Stolen Generations Art Exhibition

The exhibition explores the history and ongoing impacts of the Stolen Generations, including the forced removal of Aboriginal children from their families, communities, Country and culture through past government policies and practices.

The exhibition is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm at the Old Bega Hospital, 3 Corkhill Place, Bega. Entry is free.

FREE CLOTHING + CAKE? Sounds like a pretty good Saturday morning!
Bega High School P&C is holding a FREE Community Clothing Share on Saturday 31 October from 9am - 12pm.

We’ve been given a huge collection of good-quality second-hand clothing and we’d love to see it go to local families and community members who can use it.

Clothing is completely FREE
Everyone is welcome
No donation or purchase required
Bring along unwanted local School uniform to swap/pass on
P&C Bake Sale with plenty of treats available
Optional donation tins for anyone who’d like to support the P&C

If you can volunteer for part of the morning or donate some baked goodies for our stall, we’d love to hear from you. Every cake, slice, cupcake, biscuit and helping hand contributes to raising funds for Bega High students and P&C projects.

Stolen Generations Art Exhibition Launch is on Wednesday, 28 October.

The exhibition explores the history and enduring impacts of the Stolen Generations, including the forced removal of Aboriginal children from their families, communities, Country and culture through historical government policies and practices.
While acknowledging the profound impacts of dispossession, disconnection and intergenerational trauma, the exhibition also honours the resilience, resistance and strength of Aboriginal peoples in maintaining and reclaiming cultural identity, family connections and belonging.

Importantly, there is no single Stolen Generations story. Every survivor, family and community holds unique experiences, and this exhibition aims to provide a respectful platform for these individual and collective stories to be shared, acknowledged and honoured.

When : Wednesday, 28 October at 10.30am with a Welcome to Country at 11.00am
