FEW FOR SHOE PRESOS 2026

After two days of mayhem we headed over to The Beach Hotel to announce our winners…

A massive congratulations to our new champions for 2026 Dudley Boardriders

2nd place was secured by Eastend Boardriders Newcastle and 3rd place went to Sanbah Surf Shop

In the Single Fin Shred, our first place winner was Dustin Mrcela congrats legend 🤙

Our raffle prizes: Winner of the MR board was Dudley local Tony And the shortie board was won by Local Mark who donated his board to Williams (Liam’s son)

And finally a big congrats to Tim, Chan and Lauren who got crew MVPs

Again massive thank you to everyone who took part in the day, all of our sponsors, our volunteers and team for killing another year!

FEW FOR SHOE 2026 — WEEKEND WRAP UP!

Day 1 threw everything at us. Rough conditions, grey skies and plenty of rain — but that wasn’t stopping the comp. The surfers got out there and absolutely sent it, making the most of every wave and powering through the day

Then Day 2 arrived… and what a difference a day makes. The sun came out, the waves were pumping and the vibes were HIGH. What an absolute belter of a day to finish off the weekend!

Huge congratulations to Dudley Boardriders on taking out the win and becoming our new Few for Shoe champions! 🏆

A massive thank you to our incredible sponsors, volunteers, event team, surfers, supporters and everyone who came down and helped make this weekend what it was. This event simply wouldn’t happen without you.

Most importantly, Few for Shoe is about more than surfing. It’s about looking out for each other, starting the conversation and reminding someone that they’re not alone.

A huge shout out too Mark Richards and Slimes Newcastle for designing that absolute gem MR x FFS twin fin raffle board. If Dudley Boardriders weekend couldn’t get any better, long time member Tony won the raffle and scored this one of a kind board.

MR- you might have been there in person this year but your presence was felt with the amount of your boards taking to the waves! 🏄‍♂️

The shortie__surfboards single fin was won by local legend Mark and then donated to Shoey’s son, Wilbo to perfect his single fin surfing just like his dad.

Thank you to everyone who went into the raffle, every cent counts towards our mission of providing professional mental health care bring su***de to zero. ✨

Despite being sent some tough waves and clouds, the surfers put on an absolute display of awesome surfing!
