Are your teeth touching?
Is there tension at the hinge?
Is your tongue pressed hard
against the roof of your mouth?

That tension, the one you stopped feeling, because it became constant, is compressing the nerves at the base of your skull.

I’ve been sitting with something lately.
Since I got sick.
Since I was forced to stop.
Since I had no choice but to be still and face what the stillness brought up.

I’d been so busy.
Proving myself.
Looking after everyone else.
Pouring out.
Never replenishing.

And the world outside.
The chaos.
The ranting.
The feeling that nothing can be trusted.
Started to feel like too much.
Until I realised something that nearly stopped me completely.

The chaos I was seeing out there, was merely a reflection of the chaos I was carrying in here.

The disconnection I felt from people, was actually my disconnection from myself.

The world I didn’t trust, was actually me not trusting myself.

And I wonder, if you’ve been scrolling through the same angry posts, the same fear, the same feeling that everything is broken…

Whether something similar might be true for you.
Not as a criticism.
As an invitation.
Because the world will always show us what’s happening inside us.

The question is whether we’re willing to look.

I made this short meditation for anyone who needs to come back to themselves today.
Not to fix the world.
Not up solve anything.
Just to remember that beneath it all, the noise, the doing, the proving, there is a part of you that has never actually been lost.
It’s just been waiting for you to come home. 💛

You told yourself you’d rest when this week was done.
But that was last week.
And the week before that.
And the one before that.

I know because I did exactly the same thing.
Last week I pushed through everything.
Deadlines. Commitments.
The endless invisible load that felt impossible to put down.
My body asked me to stop.
And I just told it, just get through this week.
So it stopped me itself.
The flu. Completely floored.
Unable to do the things I had pushed through.

Here’s what I know from working with tired bodies every single day, and from learning it all over again.
Your SI joint isn’t just a physical problem.
It’s everything you didn’t stop for.
Every deadline pushed through.
Every signal overridden.
Every time you choose the list over what your body was asking for.

Your nervous system has been bracing.
Gripping at the base of the spine, holding you together while you kept going.

I got the flu this weekend.
Not because I was unlucky.

But because I ignored every signal my body sent me last week.
The tiredness.
The heaviness.
That feeling of running on empty that I told myself I’d deal with when the deadlines were done.

Sound familiar?

You’re holding it together. The work. The family. The commitments. The invisible load that never gets lighter because you never put it down.

And your body is talking to you.
Right now.
Probably has been for a while.

Slow down.
You’re running low.
Please stop.
And you’re probably telling it the same thing I told mine last week.
I’m fine.
I can handle it.
Just get through this week.

Here’s what I know now from lying here unable to do any of the things I pushed through for.
What one early night would have fixed is now days of recovery.
Maybe weeks.

Your body will always have the final word.
The only question is whether you listen when it whispers or wait until it has no choice but to stop you completely.

Rest is not a reward for finishing.
It is what keeps you from breaking.

If the first thing you think about

You've tried the physio.
The massage.
The anti-inflammatories.
The stretches you do religiously before you even get out of bed.

And it helps.
For a while.
And then it comes back.

Here's what nobody has told you about sacroiliac joint pain.

After the Myths post this week, one question kept coming up. 👇🏼
“Okay, but does it actually work?”

Fair question. Let me answer that directly.
I’ve worked with people who came to me after:
❌ Years of physio
❌ Multiple rounds of massage
❌ Surgery that didn’t resolve the issue
❌ Being told to just manage it and move on

And their bodies shifted.
Not because of anything extraordinary on my part.
But because for the first time someone was working with their nervous system instead of around it.

Here’s the truth about symptoms:
You can treat them indefinitely and never touch the cause.

The cause in most cases?
A nervous system stuck in protection mode.
A body that doesn’t feel safe enough to heal.
Layers of physical, chemical and emotional stress that have never been addressed at the level where they actually live.

Spinal Flow works at that level.

Not by forcing.

After sharing the Spinal Flow myths this week
I kept getting the same message. 👇

"It sounds incredible, but I'm not sure I fully understand what it is."

So let me say something that might surprise you.

You don't need to.

You don't need to understand Spinal Flow any more than you need to understand how your heart knows to keep beating.

The body already has that intelligence.

Spinal Flow simply creates the space for it to do what it was always designed to do.

No complicated process to learn.
No pain to push through.
No homework to complete.

You just arrive.
You allow yourself to be held.
And your body does the rest.

The women I work with often say afterwards:

That's not something you need to understand before you begin.

That's something you get to discover by showing up.
