A few years ago my body started sending me signals I couldn’t ignore.
A lump in my breast that had to be removed.
High blood pressure.
IBS symptoms that came and went without explanation.
I was doing everything right.
Eating well. Moving my body. Taking care of myself.
And yet. I kept getting sick.
I remember sitting with my doctor after yet another round of normal test results feeling completely lost.
If everything is fine, why don’t I feel fine?
What no one ever checked was my nervous system.
Not one person checked whether my body had been living in a state of chronic stress and survival for so long that it had started to break down.
Because that’s what a dysregulated nervous system does.
It doesn’t show up on a blood test.
It doesn’t appear in a scan.
But it shows up in the body.
In your gut. In your heart. In your cells.
Finding Spinal Flow changed everything for me.
Not because it fixed me, but because it helped my nervous system finally feel safe.
And when it did, my body started doing what it was always designed to do.

In the classroom:
When it comes to behaviour, we plan ahead.
When it comes to wellbeing, we wait for crisis.

We’re told to “be the adult” and manage ourselves.

No.
So we cope.

And honestly, that doesn’t sit right with me.

As the year closes, I’ve been reflecting on how much energy so many of us spent just holding it together in 2025.

It's a series of short, intentional practices to help you shift out of stress, anxiety or overwhelm and into a sense of calm and regulation by using my 4-step framework i.e. Pause, Reset, Realign, Repeat. 😍

Anger isn't bad. It's a message.
We’ve been taught to fear or suppress anger.
To bottle it up… or explode and regret it later.
Anger is your body’s way of speaking to you — and it might be saying more than you think.
But anger is just your body saying:
🚩 “A boundary has been crossed.”
🚩 “Something feels unfair.”
🚩 “You’re not being heard.”
When you listen to it — without letting it take the wheel — anger can become clarity.
It can guide you to take action from a grounded place, not a reactive one.
Next time anger rises, try this:
1. Pause and breathe deep into your belly.
2. Name what you’re feeling out loud: “I’m angry.”
3. Ask yourself: “What is this trying to protect me from?”
That’s where the wisdom lives.
Not in shoving it away… but in listening to it.
