Today, we celebrate the incredible Occupational Therapists (OTs) who make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day.

From improving mobility and safety at home to recommending assistive equipment and supporting everyday activities, OTs play a vital role in helping older Australians maintain their independence, confidence and quality of life. 🏡

At Home Caring South Perth, we recognise the importance of working alongside allied health professionals to deliver personalised, high-quality care that empowers our clients to continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes.

We had a wonderful time attending the South Perth Expo!

It was a great opportunity to connect with members of our local community, meet other organisations and chat with people about the support available to help older Australians remain safe, independent and comfortable at home.

💙 A lovely moment with Karry & Paula

When Karry first came to Home Caring South Perth, she was looking for a change and wanted a provider that could offer her the support, communication and consistency she was looking for.

Since joining us, we’ve worked closely with Karry to put the right services in place and make sure her support is centred around her needs, preferences and everyday life.

It has been so lovely to hear Karry tell our team how much she appreciates everything that has been organized for her and the support she now receives.

💜 Dementia Action Week | 21–27 September 2026 💜

This Dementia Action Week, we’re reminded that small actions can make a meaningful difference for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Taking the time to listen, showing patience, staying connected and seeing the person before the diagnosis can help create communities where people living with dementia feel understood, respected and included.

At Home Caring South Perth, we believe everyone deserves to be supported with dignity, compassion and care that is centred around who they are.

Every person has a story. Every person deserves to feel valued.

This year’s Dementia Australia theme is “It’s time to talk about dementia”, encouraging conversations that build understanding and reduce stigma.
