We will cover a range of topics, from unpacking the LGBTIQA+ acronym, to theological perspectives on LGBTIQA+ diversity, with ample opportunity to ask questions along the way.

Join us for two fun-filled days of learning, collaboration, and confidence building activities designed to help youth workers, nurses, counsellors, and others who work with young people provide information and support to young people on consent, respectful relationships and s*xual health.

Participants gain skills to:
⭐ Create a safe space for young people to talk about respectful relationships, consent and s*xual health
⭐ Utilise a human rights, strengths based, s*x positive approach
⭐ Provide current information about s*xual health
⭐ Provide appropriate support and referrals

Participants are also invited to attend an optional third day, Nuts and Bolts PLUS. N&B Plus is an opportunity to hear from sector experts on contemporary issues in s*xual and reproductive health. With guest speakers, a youth sector panel, and resources and referrals, N&B Plus supports workers to ensure currency in their work with young people.

We will be at Sexpo Perth later this month providing free s*xually transmitted infection (STI) testing to attendees throughout the weekend.

You can pre-register now by filling out this online form: shq.au/s*xpo26

Once you have completed and submitted the form, your testing collection kit will be available at the SHQ stall at the Perth Convention Centre anytime throughout the Sexpo weekend.

Alternatively, you can register in-person at the event.

In addition to Free STI testing, you can stop by our stall for condoms, resources, fun merch, or just a chat!
