Occupational Therapy for women, children and families. Located in western Adelaide. Online consults We have in-person programs, as well as online.

Providing 1:1 therapy in clinic, or at school, kindy or childcare. We also run our popular Puberty Plus programs - Well Girls and Being Boys - for tweens and teens with autism.

As we come to the close of I want to make a special shout-out to our incredible Bloom Crew OTs - Sam, Kate, Elliahn, Sinead, Emma, Katie, Tiff and Evie.

This outstanding group come to work every day with the single focus of supporting young people to participate more fully in their own lives, in ways that are meaningful to them. They represent so well our shared team values, while also bringing their own unique qualities, skills and strengths to the team.

To our Bloom Crew OTs - Thank you all for your continued commitment and purpose. You inspire me everyday with the work you do, the curiosity and compassion you bring to your roles, the care and quality support you provide, and the creativity and passion with which you do what you do.

Feeling a tad reflective about the evolution of Occupational Therapy this 🥰

We're now deep into our second year in our beautiful Semaphore Road clinic location, and have just hired two new grad OTs who will be joining the team really soon - taking our team numbers to 11 OTs, and 14 staff overall!

And that's got me (Boss Lady Sarah) taking a minute to look back on how far this little OT practice has come in the past 12 years, and the people who have worked tirelessly alongside me to help it build and grow.

Building this business from its earliest days as a 'one day a week sole trader', to the bustling OT clinic it is today has truly been the work of a lifetime.

But it was never going to happen by me alone, and I'm so honoured to have shared this journey with so many amazing people.

From the local business friends I made way back in the early days, Jen and Jane at , Carly from who provided me with my earliest clinic locations within their amazing businesses, and Rachel at who provided me with such wonderful mentoring support from the start. There's many more people, but too many to list!

To our dedicated and clever admin and support people who have worked tirelessly in he background, building and evolving this business day by day.

And of course our incredible team of Bloom Crew OTs - I'll be talking more about you later this week as we continue to celebrate

Here's to 12 years of Bloom Wellbeing OT. What an honour it is to be a part of this incredible profession, and to have the privilege to build this OT business to support so many young people and their families, right here in my own backyard of Semaphore and the western suburbs.

Holiday Group Fun!
We’ve had such a fun week of holiday group sessions!

Our STEM group was full of creativity, problem-solving and teamwork, with activities including making slime, building spaghetti and meatball towers, taking on an egg-drop challenge and designing and testing paper planes!

Our 2 cooking groups got their chef hats on and baked some delicious foods. They practiced their fine motor skills, teamwork and executive functioning skills. Our older children practiced their community access skills by going out and about to the shops to choose and collect their ingredients.

It has been a week full of hands-on learning, teamwork, independence, creativity and plenty of fun!
