To our Nepalese community of Greater Shepparton—we are here for you. ❤️💙

We know recent events in Nepal may be weighing heavily on many people across our community, particularly those worried about loved ones and family back home. You do not have to carry that worry alone.

We invite you to join us for a relaxed Information Support Session—a safe and welcoming opportunity to connect with others, learn what local support is available for you and your family, and tell us what would be most helpful right now.

This evening is also an opportunity to learn about services you may need now or in the future, regardless of whether you have been directly affected by events in Nepal.

📅 Tuesday 6 October
🕠 From 5:30pm
📍 Senior Citizens Centre, 132 Welsford Street, Shepparton

Light refreshments will be provided. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Ujjwal Rijal on 0405 690 035.

Whatever has brought you to the room—worry, questions, connection or simply wanting to know what support is available—you are welcome.

💛 TALKING THE TALK. WALKING THE WALK (literally). AND MAKING EVERY CONVERSATION COUNT.🫶

Yesterday, our PCC team walked together for ’s — remembering those we’ve lost to su***de and standing alongside those who may be struggling.

Today, on R U OK? Day, we came together again for a morning tea and an important reminder: you don’t need to be an expert to check in with someone. Sometimes, you just need to ask, “Are you OK?” — and be ready to really listen. Thank you to our Chief Corporate Officer Simone, for providing a really empathetic presentation on what to look out for, and how to check in on your loved one's and work colleagues.

Because su***de prevention isn’t something we talk about for one day.

It’s talking the talk.
It’s walking the walk.
And it’s showing up for each other, every day.💛

Today, we walked for those who should still be here. 💙

Our Primary Care Connect team took part in Lifelines — walking together to remember the lives lost to su***de, to stand beside those who carry that loss, and help raise vital funds to support people experiencing crisis.

Every person lost leaves an empty space. A family, a friend, a colleague, a community changed forever.

Today was about remembering them.

But it was also about hope — and reminding people that even in their darkest moments, support is there and they do not have to face them alone.

We’re proud to walk alongside our community and support Lifeline in the incredibly important work they do every day.

For those we’ve lost. For those of us who miss them. And for those who need us now. 💙

So far our team has raised $395, which will go towards 10 answered Lifeline calls. If you would like to help our team raise even more funds, please go to:
