Miss L is a great example of what can be achieved with an early start and consistency 👏

By starting helmet therapy at an optimal age of 3.5 months, we were able to achieve these results in 2.5 months. Miss L made fantastic progress, moving from moderate plagiocephaly and moderate brachycephaly to finishing with very mild brachycephaly and mild plagiocephaly in a relatively short period of time ⏰

We thoroughly enjoyed supporting this family through their child's helmet therapy journey 😁

We made matching AFOs for our gorgeous Miss A and her favourite doll! This project was as fun as it was rewarding.

When Miss A arrived for her scanning appointment with 'baby', we couldn't deny the request for matching pink AFOs with their family dog on the calf. Our orthotist, Chanel and Bioengineer, Ari, had such a great time bringing these orthotics to life. From getting Miss A's help to scanning baby during her measurement appointment, to modelling, to printing, dyeing them a beautiful pink, jazzing them up with gold glitter, to seeing Miss A's face light up for the final reveal at her fitting appointment! 💫

One of the things we love most about our practice is that every prescription is designed and made entirely in-house. From your 3D digital scans through to modelling, manufacturing, and your final fitting. Having everything under one roof means we get to be a little creative from time to time 🥰🤩

We are wrapping up 5 wonderful years with our Orthotist Rach! 👋

A fun fact about the beginning of Rach's journey with us is that before she started, she had to make the move from Melbourne during COVID-19 and made it across the border with only 20 minutes to spare before they closed the borders! Now that is commitment! 😄

Since her dash across the border, Rachel has been an integral part of our team and the growth of our clinic over these last 5 years. It has been a pleasure to watch Rachel grow as a clinician and a person. Her values and passion for helping people have impacted so many lives, and we cannot wait to see what she achieves in her new career. She combines professionalism, passion, empathy, and dedication perfectly with whatever she sets her mind to! 💚

Our workflow combines comprehensive biomechanical assessment, direct client 3D scanning, Geomagic freeform design, finite element analysis (FEA), and objective gait analysis. So our client’s orthotic is built around how they move not just what we ‘think might work’. But it doesn’t stop there…

We received lovely feedback from a client that Chanel has been supporting at CPA Prariewood with orthotic care 😁💚

Mr P is progressing wonderfully with his orthotics.
His biggest achievement since his fitting in January? He can now visit the shops with mum on foot for up to 20 minutes - previously, this was not possible without his wheelchair. He is also managing uneven terrain really well with the assistance of his orthotics. What a huge win!

Mr P is consistently wearing his orthotics and is showing up for himself every single day! We are so proud of his commitment to this journey and can't wait to see what milestone he will reach next. 👏🏻
