Sharing your wishes now is one of the kindest things you can do for the people you love. It won't feel like the right time until you've done it.

Have you shared the following information with your family or closest people? These are only some of the questions we ask people when they come to us -

- cremation or burial
- church, club or favourite venue
- kind of flowers or none at all
- speakers - what you want them to share (or not share!) about you
- who is your exector
- which photos do you want displayed on the big screen
- what are your favourite songs
- any prayers or poems
- organ donation
- who is your executor

Aaron Sansoni and Lewis Howes gave us a lot to reflect on, and it all comes back to this - how we can better serve our grief community at The Last Time Funerals. After 9.5 hours Nicque and I both came out with tired brains but a clear vision.

A wreath of red chillies placed where flowers might usually go 🌶🌶
Yesterday we said goodbye to a renowned Eastern Suburbs jeweller whose pieces were worn by the likes of the Rolling Stones! He was just as at home behind a stove with a handful of chillies, or behind his conga drums. Guests wrote messages on his coffin in the theme colours of black and red. Conga drum music played throughout, and moving speeches were read graveside which we. livestreamed globally from our phone! Everyone brought handfuls of chillies (and one bouquet of chillies!) which they threw into his grave instead of flowers - because they can, and so they should.
At The Last Time Funerals we know how to push the envelope a tad if it means a family can say goodbye in a true expression of their person... quirks and all 🌶🧄🪘
