More than half of Australian and New Zealand organisations experienced a print-related security incident in the past 12 months.

That's one of the key findings from our new research with Omdia, based on a survey of senior IT decision-makers across Australia and New Zealand.

While organisations continue investing in cybersecurity across networks, endpoints and cloud environments, the research suggests print environments have not always kept pace with broader governance and security practices.

As information moves across offices, homes, devices and cloud platforms, print can no longer be viewed as standalone office infrastructure. It needs to be managed as part of the broader information environment and digital workplace strategy.

We're pleased to launch The Security Mandate: Protecting Modern Print, the first report in our new Digital Workplace research series.

Download the report to explore:
- The most common print security vulnerabilities
- The impact of hybrid work on information security
- Where governance gaps are creating risk
- Practical opportunities to strengthen security controls

Digital fatigue is real.

With 9 in 10 Australians experiencing digital fatigue, cutting through the noise has never been harder.

At the same time, new research is challenging the assumption that digital is always the more sustainable communications channel, finding that printed communications can, in some scenarios, generate significantly lower carbon emissions than their digital equivalents.

When combined with the fact that almost half of Australians say they're more likely to trust a local business after receiving printed communications, it's clear that print continues to offer a unique combination of engagement, impact and sustainability.

For brands looking to connect with customers while supporting sustainability goals, print deserves a place in the conversation.

Three years running.

Konica Minolta has been named a Leader in Quocirca's Cloud Print Services Landscape 2026 for the third consecutive year.

This recognition reflects more than technology leadership. It highlights the growing importance of cloud print in helping organisations address some of their biggest workplace challenges today, including rising costs, increasing security requirements, hybrid work and the need for more efficient document processes.

According to Quocirca, 78% of organisations now use cloud-based print management in some capacity, as businesses look to reduce infrastructure complexity while improving security, governance and flexibility.

For Australian organisations, the shift is about more than moving print to the cloud. It's about creating a secure, scalable environment that brings together print, document capture and workflow management while supporting the way people work today.

We're proud to support customers on that journey and honoured to be recognised as a Leader once again.

What if your biggest sustainability challenge isn't technology, but information?

As organisations add new systems and platforms, information often becomes fragmented, creating inefficiencies, increasing risk, and making it harder to scale.

In this recent guest opinion piece, Dr Giovanni Forero, Senior Intelligent Information Management Consultant at Konica Minolta Australia, explores why effective information management is the foundation of sustainable operations, helping organisations improve efficiency, strengthen governance and reduce complexity.

If you're looking to build a more resilient, connected and future-ready business, this is well worth a read: https://loom.ly/WtxKEXw
