We recently welcomed Hunter Heart Safe for an incredibly valuable CPR training session.
Our residents took part in hands-on training focused on responding to cardiac arrest situations, learning the vital skills and confidence needed to act quickly in an emergency.

From recognising the signs to performing CPR and using a defibrillator, it was an engaging and empowering experience for everyone involved.

A big thank you to the Hunter Heart Safe team for generously donating their time, sharing their knowledge, and helping to keep our community safe. 🙌🏻 ❤️

🍀 St Patrick’s Day Celebrations! 🍀

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day, filled with laughter, great company, and plenty of green spirit! 💚

From festive decorations to delicious food, the event was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy the occasion. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces and a true sense of community on display.

TRIVIA ⭐️ 🖊️

On Saturday, another great day was had by all playing trivia in the Community Centre.

Winners from last time, "Bowled Over" were successful again, beating 2nd place "6-1 Amigos", by 1 point.

Last placed team were disappointed they did not receive a wooden spoon.
Instead they got a pen each, with a note saying, " Better luck next time, the pen might have the right answers then!"

Thank you to all those who helped set up the tables and put things back again afterwards.

Congratulations to all who took part.

Our lovely resident Jo each year creates bags to donate to Share the Dignity in support of bringing assitance to women and children each Christmas 🩷 🎀
Thank you to all who donated and to Jo for creating 47 bags. What a lovely achievement.

Share the Dignity is a women's charity in Australia, that works to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough.

There is still time to donate.
Drop filled bags to any Bunnings Australia-wide by 30 November.
