Something special is happening on the Central Coast... 🌸

I'm delighted to be partnering with Fairhaven to facilitate the Whole Warrior Womenβ„’ Workshop, a new 6-week community programme bringing women together to connect, learn and grow.

Thanks to a Fairhaven community grant, there is no cost to attend.

Together we'll explore practical skills to help women:

πŸ’— Build confidence

πŸ’— Strengthen communication skills

πŸ’— Develop healthy friendships and relationships

πŸ’— Learn about respectful boundaries and self-advocacy

πŸ’— Increase confidence participating in community life

Whether you're looking to meet new people, build confidence, or simply enjoy learning alongside other women in a welcoming environment, we'd love to hear from you.

I'm honoured to be facilitating this programme and can't wait to meet everyone over the six weeks.

πŸ“ Registration details are in the first comment.

🌸 Every woman deserves opportunities to learn, connect and grow.

Before you enter the legal process, it can help to pause and ask:

What do I need to understand?

What documents do I need to gather?

What support do I need around me?

What tends to trigger me?

What helps me stay grounded?

What are my non-negotiables?

What am I afraid of?

What do I need to stop discussing with people who make me doubt myself?

What do I want my future self to thank me for?

Separation and divorce can pull people into panic, reaction and overwhelm.

Legal information is important.

So is emotional steadiness.

You deserve support that helps you think clearly, protect your energy, understand your needs and move through the process with as much dignity and grounding as possible.

You do not have to become hardened to become strong.

Sometimes strength is simply learning how to stay connected to yourself while everything changes.

Happy Shark Week! Remember your chances of being attacked by a shark in your life time are roughly one in 4.3 million, the chance of a man attacking a woman is 1 in 3.

You do not have to be β€œover it” by now.

There is no neat timeline for recovering from separation, divorce or betrayal.

Especially when the relationship changed your sense of self.

Especially when you were lied to.

Especially when you carried the emotional labour for years.

Especially when you kept trying because you believed in commitment, family, faith, loyalty or hope.

Especially when the ending came with legal stress, financial fear, parenting worries or the loss of a shared future.

Some days you may feel strong.

Some days you may feel furious.

Some days you may miss them.

Some days you may wonder if you imagined how bad it was.

Some days you may feel relieved and devastated in the same hour.

That is not regression.

That is grief moving through the nervous system.

Healing is not a straight road.

It is often a spiral.

You return to the same questions with more truth each time.

Not all endings are failures.

Sometimes an ending is the first honest thing that has happened in years.

Sometimes it is the moment you stop abandoning yourself to keep the peace.

Sometimes it is the moment you realise love without safety is not enough.

Sometimes it is the moment your body says, β€œI cannot keep living like this.”

Sometimes it is not what you wanted.

But it is what became necessary.

There can be grief and relief.

Love and clarity.

Anger and compassion.

Fear and freedom.

All in the same chapter.

You are allowed to mourn what ended.

You are also allowed to feel proud that you are still here.

After separation, one of the hardest questions can be:

β€œWho am I now?”

Not just legally.

Not just financially.

Not just as a parent.

But inside yourself.

Who am I without managing their moods?

Who am I without walking on eggshells?

Who am I without trying to prove my worth?

Who am I without hoping they will finally understand?

Who am I after betrayal?

Who am I after years of shrinking?

Who am I if the future I planned is no longer the future I am living?

This is where counselling can help.

Separation recovery is not only about coping with loss.

It is also about rebuilding identity.

Reclaiming voice.

Relearning boundaries.

Restoring self-trust.

Remembering what peace feels like.

And slowly, gently, becoming someone you can recognise again.

Counselling support is available through Whole Warrior Solutions for adults navigating separation, divorce, betrayal, grief, trauma recovery and rebuilding after relationship breakdown.
