Out of office. Into Italy. 🇮🇹✨

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be in Italy continuing advanced training in Biodynamic Pediatric Osteopathy — deepening my studies in infant and pediatric care, nervous system regulation, and gentle whole-body treatment.

One of the things I love most about Osteopathy is that learning never really stops. The more I study, the more I appreciate how deeply connected the body, nervous system, birth experiences, stress patterns, and development truly are.

What Biodynamics feels like to me is the wisdom collective of years of practice passed down through generations — learning to listen to what the body continues to show us when we stop imposing our own ideas of what we think it needs. There’s something incredibly powerful about following the body instead of forcing it. The more I learn, the more I see how interconnected everything is.

And of course, there will also be espresso, handmade pasta, wandering old streets, truffles, and wine tastings along the way. 🍝🍷

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support this little business, trust me with their care, and make opportunities like this possible.

Ciao for now — ci vediamo tra due settimane 🤍

Why seek Osteopathic care after a concussion?

Because the body remembers injuries — even after the “main symptoms” improve.

Many people continue experiencing:
• headaches
• neck pain
• brain fog
• jaw tension
• dizziness
• nervous system overload
• fatigue & overwhelm

My concussion work often includes very gentle cranial osteopathic treatment — subtle hands-on techniques designed to support the nervous system and address strain and compensation patterns that can linger after injury.

Sometimes the body needs help shifting out of protection mode so recovery can continue.

Concussion care is rarely one-size-fits-all ✨

For some people, booking the appointment is the hardest part.

Not because they don’t want help — but because living with PTSD or chronic nervous system stress can make trying something new feel overwhelming.

Gentle treatment starts with feeling safe, heard, and able to move at your own pace.

I’m incredibly grateful this client trusted me enough to share her experience 🤍

Coming out of winter hibernation like:

“Why does my entire body hurt after one productive weekend?” 🌱😅

The body adapts to winter too.

Then spring arrives and suddenly we’re:
✔ more active
✔ outside longer
✔ tackling projects
✔ carrying kids, bikes, mulch, plants, ALL the things

Sometimes the body needs support transitioning into a new season of movement again ✨

“I don’t know what you did… but you fixed it.”

Honestly, that might be the phrase I hear most often after treatment ✨

Osteopathy isn’t always about aggressively chasing the area that hurts most.

The body adapts, compensates, and carries tension in patterns — sometimes for years. When we start addressing the underlying restrictions, other areas often begin changing too.

Small shifts can create surprisingly big changes.

Gentle treatment. Whole body approach.

Tell Me About It Tuesday ✨

Gentle treatment doesn’t mean “nothing is happening.”

Sometimes the body responds more deeply when it stops feeling like it has to defend itself.

Less force.
More listening.
Better information for the nervous system ✨

The kids are back outside. 🌱☀️

Which means:
• lifting bikes
• yard cleanup
• awkward gardening positions
• chasing children at full speed after a winter indoors 😅

If your body is suddenly reminding you it’s no longer February… Osteopathy can help ✨

Spring cleaning isn’t just for closets and garages 🌱

After a long winter, many people notice:
• more stiffness
• old injuries flaring up
• tension headaches
• sore backs and hips
• feeling generally “stuck” in their body

Then we suddenly ask the body to jump into:
✔ yard work
✔ gardening
✔ lifting
✔ home projects
✔ long walks
✔ “weekend warrior” energy

Osteopathic treatment can help the body adapt to seasonal changes, unwind compensation patterns, and move more efficiently again.

A little maintenance now can sometimes prevent the full spring “I threw my back out raking” experience later 😅
