Every blade of grass dances in the wind, while rejoicing in its existence as a companion with all of nature.

The Unbent Line

The storm may scream with icy breath,
And shadows bend the light,
But truth remains a steady line,
Refusing to take flight.

Though heavy burdens try to bow,
The spirit and the will,
I’ll hold the core that makes me me,
And stand, unyielding, still.

When winds of doubt howl fierce and loud, And easy paths entice,
I’ll keep my honor and my name,
And pay the higher price.

For steel is forged in searing fire,
And roots grow deep in pain,
I’ll walk the straight and narrow road,
And walk it, true, again.

During covid, I took long walks in the woods here in Vermont and took a lot of photos.

I eventually found that putting these photos into symmetry applications, and searching within these symmetrical photos for what appeared to be images that depicted sacred harmony- or as close as I could come to what I thought sacred harmony looks like- brought me feelings of comfort.

Recently, I've found the urge to do this again.

I hope these images, which I took today, bring the same feelings of harmonious comfort for you too.

Just some quiet time in the woods of Vermont in early spring.

The wind in the trees and the birds chirping and looking for food.

I'm sorry for the part where I said hi to the trees. I didn't realize I said it until I played it back.

Nature is where we can truly be ourselves!
