Drop by the Museum on Saturday, June 6 from 1pm to 5pm to make a free rainbow, heart-shaped keychain using alcohol ink!

While supplies last. This craft is best for those aged 12 and up - alcohol ink can stain clothing if not used carefully. Gloves will be provided.

National Indigenous History Month in Canada is a time to honour and celebrate the cultures, traditions and histories of Indigenous Peoples.

The history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada is rich and deep. In Saskatchewan, we live on Treaty territories and within the homeland of the Métis, where Indigenous perspectives and lived experience continue to shape our communities.

National Indigenous History Month also invites reflection. It calls on us to acknowledge the impacts of colonization and to consider how each of us can contribute to meaningful reconciliation in our workplaces, communities, and daily lives.

We encourage everyone to explore events being held across the province this month and deepen your understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures, and our shared past.
