Are you ignoring half of your calf?
Youโ€™ve been stretching every day and still tight, thereโ€™s a good chance this is why.
Your calf is actually two muscles. The Gastrocnemius sits on top. The Soleus runs underneath. Different functions, different attachment points, and they need to be stretched differently.
If you only stretch with a straight leg, youโ€™re hitting the Gastrocnemius and leaving the Soleus completely untouched.
Thatโ€™s why the tightness keeps coming back.
