At Moro, we aren’t just building an app. We are driving a movement to ensure non-verbal individuals and their caregivers are truly understood, supported, and seen.

Today, we are thrilled to announce that Moro has won the $50,000 Tangerine Business Elevator Pitch Challenge at the Nrth Festival!

What started two years ago with a $5K grant from Black Founders Network has grown into a mission-driven platform powered by community, resilience, and belief.

This funding is a massive catalyst for our growth, but more importantly, it validates the stories and the families we serve every single day.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Tangerine Business team for backing founders with bold visions, and to the Nrth team for an incredible event.

The Primary Care Action Plan is expanding, with a goal of connecting every Ontario resident to a family doctor or primary care provider.

As of early 2026, roughly 330,000 more people are now connected to care, with 300+ new care teams on the way.

This is the kind of progress that matters for families across the province. We're keeping an eye on what comes next. 💛

The Ontario Autism Program is increasing funding to nearly $1 billion annually, allowing more children & youth access to core clinical services like ABA therapy, speech-language pathology, and occupational therapy.

We know how much access to these services means to families, and we'll keep you updated as more details roll out. 🧡

We spent some time at the Neurodiversity Fair in Markham Public Library and left with a lot to reflect on.

Hearing different perspectives from families, caregivers, and advocates remind us how important communication and inclusive support really are. Grateful for the conversations and everything we’re continuing to learn along the way. 🧡
