โFloppy arms? Check the trunk.โ When parents state a child seems weak when printing but not in play, we look back to the trunk to address the challenge. The arms need a good anchor and solid support to work effectively. When writing and hand skills for eating are a challenge, we first challenge the trunk. It may look like play, but its hard work!. How is your child's trunk. Quick test: can they hold a straight back plank for15 seconds? If not, time to challenge the trunk.

We build stability before we chase perfect letters.
