Stronger together for seniors: spotlighting the Integrated Seniors Team (IST). 🌟

Supporting seniors with complex care needs takes a coordinated approach, and we're proud to partner with Services and Housing in the Province (SHIP) and Community Health Services (PCHS) through the Integrated Seniors Team (IST).

By working closely together, Peel Senior Link provides personal care supports while strengthening coordination and streamlining services to ensure seniors receive the right care at the right time.

Together, we're helping high-risk seniors age safely in place, stay connected to essential services, and remain part of the communities they call home.
Collaboration is at the heart of building a more integrated and compassionate system of care for seniors, and we're grateful to work alongside partners who share our vision.

We were delighted to welcome Councillor Chris Fonseca and the fantastic performers from Music For Every Child at PSL's Seniors' Active Living Centre today! Our clients had a wonderful time singing along to new and old hits.

Music For Every Child is a youth-led charity that initiates and funds music therapy programming for children with special needs. Through the universal language of music, they help students develop important life skills, including socio-emotional, communication, and behavioural regulation.

At PSL, we cherish these opportunities for intergenerational connection. Thank you to Music For Every Child and Councillor Fonseca for the music-filled morning.

If you would like to see Music For Every Child perform, they will be hosting a concert on Saturday, 22 August, from 6:00 PM (EDT) to 8:00 PM (EDT) at Grace Church On-the-Hill.

Asking for help isn't always easy. But sometimes, it's the bravest thing we can do.

After a lifetime of caring for others, Rita found it difficult to accept support when she needed it most. But through Peel Senior Link, she discovered that asking for help didn't mean giving up her independence; it meant having the support to continue living safely, confidently, and with dignity.

Delivering food security with the Food Bank 2 Home Meal Delivery program! 🥘

In early 2026, we launched our partnership with Food Banks Mississauga to bring nutritious food to seniors in our community. Through this partnership, customized grocery orders are delivered directly to the doors of homebound seniors who are unable to access food bank locations.

By extending deliveries to buildings where Peel Senior Link already provides support, the program helps reach seniors who are most at risk of food insecurity and social isolation, bringing essential nourishment directly into their homes.

🍽️ Since the program’s launch in March 2026, we have already delivered over 15 baskets to seniors in need, and more are on their way.

We're grateful to be working alongside Food Banks Mississauga to deliver food security to seniors in our community.
