We spent the afternoon Twisting like we did last summer! The music was playing, the toes were tapping, and we proved that a little rain is no match for a good old-fashioned dance party.

At Manotick Place, supporting local businesses is an important part of who we are. Today, we are proud to highlight SunTech Greenhouses, a valued local business that provides fresh, quality produce right here in our community.

To ensure our residents enjoy the very best ingredients, Chef Jake recently visited SunTech Greenhouses himself, carefully selecting fresh products to bring back to our kitchen. Building relationships with local growers allows us to serve delicious meals while supporting the hardworking people who make our community thrive.

Many of our residents have spent their lives as local farmers, business owners, and entrepreneurs. They understand firsthand the dedication, passion, and commitment it takes to build a successful local business. That’s why supporting businesses like SunTech Greenhouses is especially meaningful to us.

We are proud to celebrate the connections that keep our community strong and grateful for local partners like SunTech who help us bring fresh, local goodness to our residents every day. 🍅❤️

We are delighted to welcome our newest resident to the Manotick Place family. An incredibly talented painter, he brings with him a vibrant collection of artwork that reflects his creativity, passion, and unique perspective.

His suite has become the perfect gallery space, beautifully showcasing his colorful paintings and artistic talent. It’s wonderful to see his work bringing warmth, personality, and inspiration to our community.

At Manotick Place, we celebrate the stories, talents, and accomplishments of each resident. We are honored to have such a gifted artist among us and look forward to sharing more of his creative journey with our residents, families, and visitors.

It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!

On Tuesday, we took our chocolate tasting duties VERY seriously! We sampled milk chocolate, dark chocolate, salted caramel… and the list just kept going and going! 🍫🍬

There were some very important decisions to be made, plenty of opinions shared, and, of course, lots of chocolate consumed in the name of research.

Let’s just say… we’re pretty sure this is what they mean by a balanced lifestyle!

Last night, we gathered around the fire, sang along to some favourite tunes with Chad Wolf, shared plenty of laughs, and of course… enjoyed the most important part — S’MORES!

There’s something pretty magical about a warm fire, good company, great music and a little bit of chocolatey goodness. ❤️

Safety First at Manotick Place!

This week at Manotick Place, our team put safety into action! From fire drills and emergency procedures to practicing evacuations through our stairwells, our staff participated in hands-on training designed to keep our residents and team safe.

Safety isn’t just a checklist—it’s something we practice, prepare for, and take seriously every day. Our team works hard to ensure everyone knows what to do, where to go, and how to respond calmly and confidently in an emergency.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for their dedication, teamwork and commitment to keeping Manotick Place a safe place to call home.

🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

At Manotick Place, we believe there’s always room for a little more puppy love! ❤️

Whether they’re visiting with family, stopping by for a pet therapy visit, or coming to work with their favourite staff member, we absolutely LOVE all the dogs of Manotick Place! 🐶🐾

They bring smiles, cuddles, comfort and so much joy to our residents and our home. And because we couldn’t leave anyone out… we even snuck in one very special cat who thinks he is a dog 😻
