👯‍♀️ TWIN DAY at Manotick Place! 👯‍♂️

Today was double the fun and double the laughs as residents and staff celebrated Twin Day! From staff twinning with each other, to residents matching with staff, and even resident-to-resident duos, the creativity was on full display.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughs, and a few moments where we had to do a double-take! 😄

Events like these remind us that it’s the special connections, shared laughter, and sense of community that make Manotick Place feel like home.

One of the hidden gems of living at Manotick Place and The Miller Seniors Apartments is having beautiful Remembrance Park right across the street.

The park is absolutely stunning this time of year, with vibrant red poppies in full bloom creating a breathtaking display. Paired with the colourful floral gardens and the peaceful river as a backdrop, it’s the perfect place to stop, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of our community.

Whether it’s a morning stroll, an afternoon visit, or simply taking in the view, we’re fortunate to have such a spectacular space just steps from our front door. 🌺🌹🌊

Today, we are celebrating a very special milestone as Emily officially received her RN pin! This achievement represents years of hard work, dedication, and a passion for caring for others. You may have seen Emily in her many roles at Manotick Place such as server, dishwasher, receptionist, activities and psw-6 years and counting.

What made the moment even more meaningful was having our very own Nurse Joyce do the honour of pinning her. Seeing one dedicated nurse welcome another into the profession was truly a proud and heartwarming experience.

Emily, we are incredibly proud of all that you have accomplished and grateful to have you as part of the Manotick Place family. Your future in nursing is bright, and we know you will continue to make a difference in the lives of so many.
