Good news for N.W.T. Proposed changes to expand ’ scope of practice could help improve access to care and bring the territory more in line with other jurisdictions across Canada.

In communities across the country, pharmacists have been improving access to care when they are enabled to provide the services they are educated and trained to deliver — from assessing and prescribing for common conditions to supporting ongoing medication management and administering vaccines.

It has been a privilege to welcome the global pharmacy community to Canada and an opportunity to celebrate and showcase Canadian pharmacy on the global stage. 🍁

CPhA was pleased to sign the FIP Montreal Declaration on Non-Communicable Diseases and add Canada’s voice to this global call to action at .

The declaration recognizes as essential primary health-care providers and calls for them to be fully enabled to contribute to NCD prevention, treatment and long-term care.
