Skills & qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of child sexual abuse and an interest in working with children are considered assets.
• Understanding of anti-oppressive, feminist, trauma-informed, and survivor-centred practices.
About the role:
This position supports the delivery and ongoing development of our youth abuse prevention programs, as well as other sexualized violence awareness presentations. The role also involves community outreach and building knowledge of local resources to support individuals and communities.
This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about making a difference in the non-profit sector, as well as individuals with post-secondary education in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
