LDANL wishes everyone in the 2SLGBTQ+ community a Happy Pride Month!

Our organisation strives to be an inclusive, welcoming community for everybody. Pride Month is a good time to think about how the things that make us different from one another are not divisions, they're opportunities for empathy and growth.❤️

June is National Indigenous History Month—a time to honour the cultures and heritages of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

For instance, did you know that the traditional Mi'kmaq name for the island of Newfoundland is Ktaqmkuk (pronounced k-dahg-um-kook)?

LDANL encourages everyone to take time during June to learn more and to honour Indigenous connections to the land.
