Our quality medical devices are manufactured by world leader suppliers such as Air Sep Corporation, ResMed Corporation, and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, just to illustrate some examples. Cou

pled with Praxair as our medical gas provider, HorizonAire has reliable manufacturers available to service your needs. Our office and store front showroom is conveniently located at 300 Kenmount Road - Suite 100, in St. John's. Here we have a display library of reading material, an equipment demonstration showroom and private consultation clinic rooms. This convenience is available for the benefit of our patients who prefer to visit us. We also offer home visits. Our professional respiratory staff is comprised of Registered Respiratory Therapists, Bio-Medical Technologists as well as a consulting Respirologists. Our competence is further enhanced through professional development seminars offered by manufacturer direct training. All of our Respiratory Therapists are registered in good standing with CSRT (Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists) and the NLCRT (Newfoundland & Labrador College of Respiratory Therapists). HorizonAire, a division of Horizon Distributors Inc., is a registered licensed establishment of Health Canada, a student scholarship sponsor of the College of the North Atlantic for their Respiratory Therapy Diploma program, and with almost 20 years experience and thousands of satisfied customers, we look forward to serving you.

Hypertension and sleep apnea are closely linked, with each condition increasing the risk and severity of the other. Research shows that over 50% of people with untreated sleep apnea may have high blood pressure, and 30-50% of people with hypertension may have undiagnosed sleep apnea.

Keeping your CPAP equipment clean and replacing supplies regularly improves the function of your equipment and helps prevent respiratory infections. We strongly recommend:
-Weekly CPAP cleaning with a mild dish soap and lukewarm water.
-Replace CPAP mask and filter every 6 months*.
-Replace humidifier chamber and tubing every 12 months.
Drop by our office anytime during business hours to purchase new supplies. We have a large inventory on hand. No appointment necessary.
*Most insurance policies will reimburse patients for 1-2 masks per year. Check with your provider for details.
