OsteoSofia OsteoSofia is created to offer Osteopathic Manual care, and Workshops related to the Sofia( Wisdom) in our body and how we as Humans can manifest it.

After I finished my Manual Osteopathy Diploma (D.O.M.P), and was asked to teach at several schools, I decided to open this page, but I was not sure what shall i name it. So I decided to meditate to see if the name will come to me, after 3 weeks of mediation I received the name OsteoSofia, which means The Divine Wisdom in the Bone system. People usually think of our skeleton as a dead matter, yet l

ife starts from within, from the bone marrow, and it is this breathing of life and death that is manifested in our thoughts, feelings and actions. Through the specific treatments and knowledge provided by OsteoSofia, your body will learn how to be in balance between those two poles, and live a more harmonised life.

Mars is fire. Mars is action. Build, produce, plant, push.

Through these seven years I completed training I once only dreamed of — osteopathy, functional medicine, psychology, somatic therapy — and learned to weave them into one session, one space, one encounter.

(I don’t heal anyone. I never have. I’m just a facilitator for the healing you create yourself.)

Millions of children. One pill. And we may have had it wrong all along.
A growing body of research is challenging everything we thought we knew about ADHD medication — from whether it actually improves symptoms long-term, to its effects on the developing body and brain.
As someone who has worked with the nervous system and trauma for over 20 years, this doesn’t surprise me. But it does concern me deeply.
Because our children deserve more than symptom management. They deserve to be understood.

Your brain has a built-in network called the Default Mode Network — and it’s secretly running in the background of almost every thought you have.

It’s not a flaw. It’s what allows you to remember who you are, feel empathy, imagine your future, and make meaning out of your experiences.

But in trauma — it gets hijacked.

Instead of moving fluidly between past, present, and future, it gets stuck in a loop.

Replaying what happened.
Dreading what might come.
Never landing in now.

The good news?
Your body can interrupt that loop.
That’s what somatic therapy does.
It gives your nervous system a way back to the present moment.

What if the absence of pain wasn’t healing — but freeze?
The body doesn’t forget. It stores. It holds. And at some point, it begins to speak — through exhaustion, tension, and a feeling of being stuck for no clear reason.
Frozen trauma doesn’t need to be relived — it needs a different entry point.

I watched this and something in me went still.
A teacher trying to finish her lesson. Children screaming. And life “goes on.”
This is what repeated trauma does to a developing nervous system — the child doesn’t just learn to be afraid. They learn that fear is the normal state.
A growing brain doesn’t have the luxury of “it’s over.” Every explosion, every scream, every moment of terror — gets encoded as evidence that the world is fundamentally unsafe.
These children won’t just remember what happened. Their bodies will carry it.💔💔

شاهدت هذا الفيديو وتجمّد كل شيء فيّ.
معلمة تحاول أن تُكمل درسها. أطفال يصرخون. والحياة “تستمر”.
هذا ما يفعله الصدمة المتكررة بالجهاز العصبي النامي — لا يتعلّم الطفل فقط أن يخاف. يتعلّم أن الخوف هو الحالة الطبيعية.
الدماغ في مرحلة النمو لا يملك رفاهية “لقد انتهى الأمر”. كل انفجار، كل صرخة، كل لحظة إرهاب — تُطبع في الجهاز العصبي كدليل على أن العالم غير آمن بطبيعته.
هؤلاء الأطفال لن يتذكروا فقط ما حدث. أجسادهم ستحمله.

Most of us go through holidays/days feeling something we can’t quite name.
Not sad. Not happy. Just… dysregulated.
The nervous system doesn’t follow the calendar. It follows signals. And when those signals say danger, loss, pressure, or overwhelm — no amount of celebration overrides that.
This is orienting — one of the simplest and most powerful tools in somatic therapy.
When you let your eyes move slowly and land on something safe in your environment, you are sending a direct signal to your brainstem: I am not in danger. This moment is okay.
It takes 60 seconds.
It costs nothing.
And it works.
Try it today — wherever you are.
Save this for the next time your body feels more than your mind can explain.
جهازك العصبي لا يعلم أن اليوم عطلة.
كثيرون منا يمرّون بالأعياد وهم يحملون شيئاً لا يستطيعون تسميته.
لا حزن واضح. لا فرح كامل. فقط… توتر لا مبرر له.
الجهاز العصبي لا يتبع التقويم. يتبع الإشارات. وحين تقول تلك الإشارات خطر، فقدان، ضغط، إرهاق — لا يستطيع أي احتفال أن يلغي ذلك.
هذا ما يُسمى التوجّه — أحد أبسط أدوات العلاج الجسدي وأكثرها فاعلية.
حين تدع عينيك تتحركان ببطء وتستقران على شيء آمن في محيطك، فأنت ترسل إشارة مباشرة إلى جذع دماغك: لست في خطر. هذه اللحظة بخير.
ستون ثانية.
لا تكلّفك شيئاً.
وتعمل فعلاً.
جرّبها اليوم — أينما كنت.

When a child plays funeral, most people look away.
I want you to look closer.
This isn’t disturbing behavior. It’s a nervous system doing the only thing it knows — replaying what it couldn’t process. Searching for an ending that makes sense.
This is repetition compulsion. And in children, it doesn’t show up in a therapist’s office. It shows up in play.
Because play is their language.
It’s how they say what they cannot say.
If a child near you is reenacting something uncomfortable — don’t shut it down. Sit with them. Be the regulated presence that makes it safe enough to feel.
Because without a safe adult, trauma reenactment becomes a wound that repeats for decades.
With one — it can become the beginning of healing.
Next time a child shows you something through play — don’t stop them. Watch. Listen. Follow them in. That’s where their unspoken truth lives.
حين يُمثّل طفل جنازةً في لعبه، يُحوّل معظم الناس أبصارهم.
أريدك أن تنظر عن كثب.
هذا ليس سلوكاً مقلقاً. إنّه جهاز عصبي يفعل الشيء الوحيد الذي يعرفه — يُعيد ما لم يستطع هضمه. يبحث عن نهاية تبدو منطقية.
هذا ما يُسمى قهر التكرار. وعند الأطفال، لا يظهر في عيادة معالج. يظهر في اللعب.

هكذا يقولون ما لا يستطيعون قوله.
إن كان في حياتك طفل يُعيد تمثيل شيء يجعلك غير مرتاح — لا توقفه. اجلس معه. كن الحضور المستقر الذي يجعل الأمر آمناً بما يكفي للشعور.
لأن الصدمة دون بالغ آمن تتحول إلى جرح يتكرر لعقود.
ومع وجوده — تبدأ رحلة الشفاء.
في المرة القادمة التي يُريك فيها طفل شيئاً من خلال اللعب — لا توقفه. راقب. استمع. اتبعه إلى الداخل. هناك تعيش حقيقته التي لا تجد كلمات.
