In TCM, every season carries its own energy and brings different patterns to the body.

Fall is the season of Metal, when the Lungs and Large Intestine become more vulnerable to dryness, phlegm, congestion and seasonal change.

Nature provides what we need to move with each transition. The plants, roots and herbs around us offer support for the challenges of the season, while simply spending time in nature helps regulate and restore us.

You are nature. The more time we spend connected to it, the more we remember how to come back into balance. 🌼🦋🫁

❤️‍🔥 Summer is always hard to say goodbye to, but I am so grateful! I love love my summers.

The fire, the warmth, the long days, the aliveness that's my jam.

But as we move into fall and the element of Metal, I welcome this season of turning inward.

A time to reset.

To reevaluate.

To let go of what no longer serves me.

To ask myself where I want to be and what I want this next year to look like.

For me, this is my New Year and I'm very excited for what's to come 🤍
