A lovely time was had by 2 of our residents today as we headed down to the beach for a ride on the trishaws. We were lucky to see the dolphins jumping beside the harbour, we had a tour round fittie and finished off reminiscing about times spent at the beach ballroom. Back at Deeside some of our residents enjoyed pamper sessions with Mollie, nails were being painted, hands massaged, all whilst enjoying a chat.

Tickets are now on sale for our summer fayre on the 11th of July. They can be purchased from reception and cost £5 which includes a burger.

We are still also accepting raffle donations.

Let’s make this a great event for all the family to join in and create memories.

Another rainy day here at Deeside but yet again the weather did not deter us from getting out and about. The ponchos were at the ready as we walked along to our local shops and along to the local community hub to admire the beautiful flowers that have been planted. Along the way some of us decided to have a wee sing song and the song of choice was apt for the weather conditions as we sang singing in the rain. You can tell by the smiles on our faces we had a lovely time.

The rainy weather today did not dampen our spirits. The home recently purchased ponchos and umbrellas so we can get out and about no matter what Mother Nature throws at us. Today some of our residents modelled the new ponchos and we headed off to music to remember at the local church hub. A great time was had by all.
