Garden explorers is back for the summer holidays🌻

Do your children want to become Garden Explorers at Angmering grange care home?
Join our Residents and Claire, the Expert Garden Explorer, for a fun filled morning of garden related activities.
This event is suitable for primary school age children. parents/carers must stay (younger siblings welcome)

The session is free but booking is essential, as spaces are limited.

Plenty of jobs for all ages to get involved in, followed by a burger and a pint (soft drink available).

Not all of our animal visitors are cute and fluffy!

Yesterday we welcomed Bendy the snake, who certainly sparked plenty of curiosity and conversation around the home.

Residents had the opportunity to meet and hold Bendy, something many had never experienced before. It was wonderful to see everyone stepping out of their comfort zones, sharing stories, asking questions, and enjoying such a unique encounter.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the judges from 'Hallmark in Bloom' to explore our beautiful garden.

Residents and team members joined together to celebrate the occasion with a wonderfully fun Mad Hatter's Tea Party, filled with laughter, delicious treats, and plenty of garden magic!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. 🌸☕🎩

Now we eagerly await the results and will keep you posted on how we get on! 🌻

Some of the team from Angmering Grange will be having a kick about at Worthing Rugby Club - which the club have very kindly giving us the pitch for free - all in aid of a very special lady.
If any friends or family of Angmering grange would care to join in the fun, please do, the more the merrier.
Plus I believe the bar may be open for spectators!

Commiserations to our England lads tonight. It wasn't the result we were hoping for, but they gave it their all and made the nation proud. ⚽🏴

Regardless of the score, our residents had a great evening in the cinema watching the match together, cheering on England, sharing plenty of football banter, and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere.

It's occasions like these that bring everyone together, and we loved seeing residents, relatives and team members united in support of the Three Lions.

Well done, England – we'll be cheering you on again next time!
