Poplar Grove Practice is taking part in an NHS-supported initiative to make menopause information and support more accessible for our patients.

They are offering women aged 40-65 complimentary access to Your Menopause by Harley St at Home — an online community created by menopause specialists. It provides trusted, evidence-based information, on-demand videos, live sessions, and self-help resources to help you better understand and manage your menopause symptoms.

🍂 Flu season is coming… and we’ve got you covered! 💉

Poplar Grove Practice’s annual flu vaccination programme is kicking off in October 2026! 🎉

We’ll be inviting eligible patients to get in touch and book their flu vaccination appointment over the next few weeks.

📅 When are the clinics?
👩‍⚕️ Eligible adults aged 18+
We’ll be running special Saturday flu clinics on 17th and 24th October — perfect for fitting in your vaccination around a busy week! We’ll also have weekday appointments available, so there should be an option to suit you.
🧒 Eligible children aged 2–17
Flu vaccination appointments will be available throughout September and October.

📬 What do I need to do?
If you’re eligible and registered with Poplar Grove Practice, you don’t need to chase us just yet! We’ll be in touch shortly to invite you to book your appointment.
So, as the leaves start to fall 🍁, make sure your flu jab is on your autumn to-do list!

On these dates only, the prescription phone line and prescription collection hatch will be closed.

If you need a repeat prescription, please order it in plenty of time to help avoid any delays.

If you have an urgent query while the Prescription Team is unavailable, please contact the practice as usual and a member of our team will be happy to help where possible.
