So, Florence our gorgeous Cockerpoo got hold of my iPad and created a post. Molly my beagle stays as the logo, Florence the mascot. Ozzy our newish 🐶 is too busy chasing tennis balls to care.
We are getting a few calls about scooters not working as they should, it’s been very 🥵, next week is looking 🔥 too. Please take it easy with powered products, don’t race around at top speed, take it easy, rest if possible on longer journeys and let the motor cool. That 5 minute break could save your motor overheating, breaking down and an expensive repair. You’ll be seeing more of Florence in the future! The picture is her, 🤖 just repositioned her 🐾.

More happy customers given freedom and independence today. A Scoozy S800 gone to someone that lives on The Downs and a Drive Envoy 8 gone to a customer in Ratton, Eastbourne. Lost count of how many people we’ve helped gain freedom this last week. New products delivered today, I will try and post them on here next week, just didn’t get time today. Have a great weekend.

We’ve had a couple of situations recently where we are asking questions on the phone and people get a little impatient. We are trying to help you, trying to save you money and get you rolling again. One yesterday said abruptly “I’ve done that twice already” we asked them to try again following our instructions and lo and behold it sorted it. Another one insisted they’d done what we asked and wanted us to come out, we got ther and it was in freewheel so they hadn’t done what we asked them, £40 charge plus a week with no scooter. Please be patient, we ask questions for good reason

Marks ramblings, long, sometimes strange but you’ll never get posts like this from anyone else 😂.
It’s been an interesting week to say the least. That new super moon on Tuesday messed with a few people 😂. Grumpy week it’s called now, even had a really abusive customer swearing at me on the phone saying I must be F blind not to see the fault on his scooter. He came down to show me, I told him there’s nothing wrong with it, I even showed him the new one in the shop that’s the same, now added to our customers banned list. I will not tolerate abuse towards me or my staff.
The weather cooled Friday and people must have been waiting to come out and buy scooters, one of our best days, 5 sold. Eastbourne x 2 and Bexhill x 3. 2 customers came to us after visiting others in Eastbourne, they liked us, our attitude with no pushy sales and the range of products, no good having a mobility shop with no choice of product. One scooter going to Heathfield, we don’t cover the area but customer is happy to pay extra for delivery and he has another company who’ll look after it. We do try to accommodate people but we have to set boundaries of what we can do, it’s 45 minutes each way. We are getting so many emails and calls from people asking us to buy products they purchased from other companies, mostly online ones, we are only buying products we sold initially with the odd exception. It’s the same with powered wheelchairs, we had a customer with a Quantum powerchair they wanted servicing, I said no and recommended another company. At least 3 people wanted us to fix products they’d purchased online, said they’d get the parts if we’d fit them. I’m putting our customers first, buy from us and you get the aftercare.
If you’re still reading and not asleep enjoy the weather, it’s getting cooler and hopefully people will be less grumpy next week.

We’ve just opened an account with a new supplier, the products will have names created by us, this helps stop people coming to the shop, trying them out and then buying online. EG, we call it a Spaniel wheelchair and they search for it they won’t find it 🤣, yes we have had people do this in front of us. They’re great products at great prices, coming soon. The Cockerpoo wheelchair 😂, not sure about that one, still to decide names.

Me and Brandon were riding a scooter each to the van and a guy in his mid 20’s said to Brandon “You’re too young to be using that” I was shocked at this, I replied saying ‘there’s no age limit for these’. Sad to see such ignorant people in this world. We have customers of all ages. I imagine plenty of you have had some pretty awful things said?
