🌊 Men’s Relaxing Sound Bath – Interest Check 🌊

Hi gents,

Following the success of the last one we are looking at hosting another men’s soundbath session with Beth Le Grand Holistic Wellness and are currently considering 6-8pm on either:

📅 Sunday 28th June
or
📅 Sunday 5th July

A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience using soothing sounds and vibrations to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and promote a sense of wellbeing.

📍 Venue: To be confirmed

Before we finalise plans, we’d like to find out which date works best for everyone.

This time there will be a small exchange of £10 to cover venue hire and Beth’s time and amazing performance.

Please let me know preference in the poll below or drop me a message.

Looking forward to sharing another Soundbath experience with you all.

Do you know about Martha's Rule? A new patient safety initiative to support the early detection of deterioration by ensuring the concerns of patients, families, carers and staff are listened to and acted upon. to help detect signs of deterioration early — and it applies to patients of all ages.
For parents with children in hospital, you know your child better than anyone and may notice small changes before the care team does.
Please tell your care team if your child:
• has a high temperature — sweating, shivering or feeling hotter or colder than usual when you touch them
• has a different cry to normal
• has any changes to their skin, for example they are pale or have a rash (this may be harder to see on black or brown skin) or sores or blisters
• is unusually sleepy or hard to wake
• is irritable or restless
• is not interested in feeding, drinking or eating
• is breathing faster than normal, grunting with each breath or wheezing
• is peeing much less or has blood in their poo
Speak up about anything that worries you — it could help prevent more serious health problems.
If you're still concerned, Martha's Rule gives you the right to request a rapid review.

This week is Volunteers' Week - a chance to say thank you for the special work they do throughout our communities. This is a chance to really reflect, celebrate and inspire.

Volunteers play a crucial role in any community, as they bring people together and foster a sense of belonging. Their selfless contributions help address local needs.
By dedicating their time and skills, volunteers not only improve the quality of life for others but also create strong social bonds that enrich the community as a whole. Their efforts often inspire others to get involved, creating a ripple effect that can lead to lasting positive change.

Many people look for ways to feel more connected, purposeful and involved in their communities. Volunteering offers more than just an opportunity to help others — it can also bring real benefits to your wellbeing. Taking part in volunteering activities can support your mental, emotional, and physical health while helping you build connections with others. - There will be more on this later in the week as we celebrate Volunteer's Week 😊
