☀️ Summer Fun at Chevington Lodge! ☀️

We have had a wonderful summer here at Chevington Lodge, filled with laughter, creativity, new experiences and making new friends. 💕

We enjoyed some fantastic carnival games with the lovely Gracie & Sophie, and we also started a painting club every Thursday, giving everyone the chance to get creative and have fun. 🎨

Our Games Day Cup became even more exciting with two new games — Cup Stacking and Do We Trust Each Other? There was certainly lots of laughter that day! 😄🏆

We also enjoyed our favourite games, including Hoopla, Bean Bag Throwing, Dice Games and Word Games. 🎲🎯

And of course, we made time for some special moments with our reborn doll and enjoyed some relaxing pamper sessions. 🥰🧖‍♀️

🎂💙❤️ **AUGUST – A MONTH FULL OF CELEBRATIONS!** 🎉🥳

August has been a wonderfully busy month for birthdays, filled with laughter, music, delicious food, and lots of very special memories! 🎈🎶💃

🌟 **A VERY SPECIAL 104TH BIRTHDAY!** 🌟

We were incredibly proud and honoured to celebrate the **104th birthday of our lovely T!** 🎂💐 What a remarkable milestone! ❤️

To make T’s celebration extra special, everyone came dressed in **blue 💙**, T’s second favourite colour. The room looked amazing, and there were smiles everywhere!

🥂 A glass of Prosecco, fizzy drinks, 🍕 delicious pizza, and a wonderful buffet made the celebration even more enjoyable. And, of course, our talented chef created a beautiful **blue and red birthday cake**, decorated with strawberries 🍓 — T’s favourite colours and flavours! 🎂💙❤️

🎶💃 Everyone had a fantastic time dancing and enjoying the live music, specially planned for this very special occasion. Residents, staff, family members, and our Director all joined in the celebrations, with our Director even bringing his family along to share this memorable day with us. 🥰

There was **lots of laughter, dancing, fun, and wonderful memories** made together. What a fantastic way to celebrate such an incredible milestone! 🎉❤️

🎂 And the celebrations didn’t stop there! A few days later, we celebrated another lovely lady, **R**, who enjoyed her birthday cake and another special day surrounded by everyone. 💕🎈

Our residents had a lovely day at the beach, enjoying the fresh sea air, beautiful views,and of course a delicious Ice cream! 🍦
The trip brought back some lovely childhood memories for many of our residents, reminding them of happy days spent bringing their own families to the beach.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the chance to spend time together,sharing stories, laughter, and special memories.
By the journey home everyone was feeling a little tired- with plenty of happy memories to take back with them.

What a fabulous Saturday we had in the garden! ☀️🌸

Our afternoon tea party was filled with sunshine, delicious food and fantastic entertainment. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and making such lovely memories together.

A huge thank you to Rob James, who provided us with fantastic entertainment and helped make the afternoon so special. 🎶👏

And, of course, a big thank you to everyone who supported our brilliant raffle, helping us raise much-needed funds for our amenities. 🎟️💷

Our residents smile immediately when children of all ages visit the home. Please take an hour out of your summer holidays to come and have some fun with us at Chevington Lodge. We have worked with the charity, Friend in Deed, for many years now because of the joy and happiness that intergenerational connections and friendships bring to all ages. Our residents are so looking forward to this special event and we really hope that lots of children can pop along to spend time with us - Friend in Deed

💛 Another wonderful week filled with smiles, laughter, and special moments! 💛

Our residents have had a fantastic time enjoying choir with Sarah and Peter 🎶, filling the home with beautiful music and happy memories.

There have been lovely moments spent relaxing in the garden with family and friends 🌸☀️, as well as getting creative with painting and crafts 🎨✂️. We also had lots of fun playing ten-pin football ⚽🎳 and were delighted to welcome back our furry friend, Gus 🐶, who always brings plenty of tail wags and smiles!

The fun continued with jigsaw puzzles 🧩, bingo, and word games 🔤, keeping everyone's minds active while enjoying each other's company.

And of course, we couldn't forget a little pamper time! 💅 Our residents enjoyed having their nails painted and being thoroughly spoiled, leaving everyone feeling relaxed, refreshed, and looking fabulous. 💖

It's been another week full of friendship, fun, and wonderful memories. 🌼😊

✨ Another fantastic couple of weeks here at Chevington Lodge! ✨

There have been plenty of smiles, laughter, and special moments shared by everyone. 💛

Our residents have enjoyed cooling down with delicious smoothies and fresh fruit platters 🍓🥭 before putting their coordination to the test with some friendly hoopla and bean bag games – there were lots of cheers and a few competitive spirits too! 🎯

When the weather allowed, we made the most of the fresh air with some relaxing time in our beautiful garden, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying each other's company. 🌼🌿

Our much-loved reborn doll received lots of care and attention, and our favourite word game once again proved to be a big hit, keeping everyone's minds active while having fun together. 🧩💕

The highlight for many was a very special visit from Fearne the beautiful black Labrador. 🐾 Her wagging tail, gentle nature, and cuddles brought so much happiness to our residents, making it a visit to remember.

It's moments like these that make Chevington Lodge such a wonderful place to call home. ❤️

🎉 What a fantastic week we've had at Chevington Lodge! 🎉

It's been another week full of fun, laughter, and wonderful moments together. 😄 We had a great time playing with sticky balls, bringing out everyone's competitive side, before coming together for our residents' meeting.

🌸 We also enjoyed some lovely walks in the garden, making the most of the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

🍦 Our taste buds were treated to some delicious ice creams, followed by a fun word game and a memory game that got everyone thinking and sharing plenty of laughs!

🎾 To round off the week, we've been keeping a close eye on all the exciting action from Wimbledon, cheering on our favourite players and enjoying the matches together.

Here's to another week of friendship, fun, and making special memories at Chevington Lodge. 💙✨

What a wonderful week we've had at Chevington Lodge! 🐶☀️🎈

We started the week with a very special visit from our furry friend Asher the dog, who brought lots of smiles and tail-wagging happiness to everyone! 🐾❤️

The sunshine also gave us the perfect opportunity to spend some time in the garden, enjoying the fresh air, gentle exercise, and the beautiful outdoors. 🌼🌿

Our residents put their coordination skills to the test with a bean bag challenge, aiming through a hula hoop, and of course, we couldn't miss a game of our all-time favourite – balloon tennis! 🎯🎈🏆

To top off the weekend, we celebrated all the amazing fathers with some delicious chocolate treats. 🍫💙

It's been a week full of fun, laughter, friendship, and happy memories at Chevington Lodge! 😊
