Our annual Charity afternoon Tea will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday 11th July 2026, 11am till 2pm.
Admission is free.
Donations will be gladly received for the ongoing work of the British Red Cross .

Special thanks to Darren and Neil from Rankin Funeral Directors for their outstanding professional services and attention to detail that was deeply appreciated by us all. Thank you to Neil Robertson organist, for playing for the service, Rev Gillian Paterson for conducting the Memorial Service and the Wellesley Centre team, Katie Pearson from the Baking Star for the catering and Karen from Finesse Floral Design for the stunning floral tribute.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who attended the service in person and online, and who contributed to the collection for Wellesley Parish Church which raised £426.10.

Colin is sadly missed but will be forever loved.

Peacefully at her home in Kinghorn, on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, Rene, (Singer Sue Taylor, Raith Ballroom) aged 89 years, beloved wife of Andy, loving mum of Jacqueline, also a much-loved Nana. She will be sadly missed. R.I.P.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Thursday 18th June, at 12.45pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Rene may be given at the service for Kinghorn RLNI, If so desired.

Suddenly at his home in Burntisland on Thursday 28th May 2026, Frank, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Helen, loving dad of Christine, devoted grandad of Kelly, Jack and Elisha, much loved great grandad, dear uncle of Gordon. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Rankin Funeral Directors on Monday 15th June at 11am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. A Private Cremation thereafter. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Frank may be given at the service for Parkinson’s Uk, If so desired.

The family of the late George Russell would like to thank all family and friends for all the many cards, flowers and message received after his unexpected passing. Thank you to Jayne Johnson, civil celebrant, for her lovely service, heartfelt thanks to Darren Rankin and staff of Rankin Funeral Directors Burntisland for all their help, guidance and care with the funeral arrangements, and also to the Dean Park hotel for their hospitality.
Lastly thank you to all who paid their respects at the crematorium and who generously donated to the collection in George’s memory for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, which amounted to £ 357.25.

Peacefully at Ostlers House Care Home Kirkcaldy on Monday 25th May 2026, Cynthia, aged 86 years of Burntisland, originally Stoke On Trent, beloved wife of the late Len also a much loved and loving mum, gran, great gran and great great gran. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Peacefully at her home in Aberdour, on Friday 22nd May, 2026, Susan, aged 71 years, beloved wife of Grant, loving mum, granny, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed.

Peacefully in her sleep on Thursday 7th May 2026, Kathryn, aged 79 years, of Burntisland. Kathryn was a much-loved mum of Paula and doting granny of Beinn and Harris and was loved by so many.

Funeral service to take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Monday 1st June 2026 at 11.45am, to which all are most welcome. Family flowers only please but there will be an opportunity to donate in Kathryn’s memory if you so wish, for the ongoing work of Alzheimer Scotland. “Forever In Our Hearts”

Peacefully at Cameron Hospital Windygates on Friday 8th May 2026, Colin, aged 86 years of Buckhaven, formerly Cape Town South Africa, beloved husband of Florence, loving dad of Sally and Debbie, devoted papa of Melissa, Kirstie, and Michael and great grandad of Tannar and Baylee. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
