Do you feel a chance to speak to people who have had similar experiences might be of help? Would you like to meet up in person or get involved in online groups? We can signpost you to groups and services today.

Have a conversation with your Cancer Navigator or a Cancer Support Advisor in the Information Pod on level 2 near Oncology and Haematology Radiotherapy no appointment is necessary.

We have a list of support groups with many options of in person/ online site specific, gender specific and in different areas.

Cancer Care Map is a comprehensive, online directory of cancer support services in the UK providing verified and trusted information, regularly checked and updated, and accessible to all.

Search by postcode, city or region with a keyword to be provided with a list of information for patients, carers their friends and family members. These details can be filtered by type of service and age group. You can save Cancer Care Map as a desktop icon on your phone or computer meaning the information is just a click away.

Look Good Feel Better host workshops at Cambridge Cancer Help Centre. These sessions are a collaborative wellbeing project.

The relaxed friendly sessions are lead by trained experts and give you the opportunity to meet others in similar situations. They aim for lots of learning and a real boost of positivity by helping you learn practical tips and techniques to make you look and feel like you again. The workshop is dedicated to empowering cancer patients by boosting their confidence and well-being. The special session offers beauty and wellness tips tailored to your own unique journey, providing a space to connect, share and rejuvenate.
