Residents enjoyed a lovely flower arranging session today, creating their own beautiful displays with plenty of colour and creativity. 🌷🌼✨

From choosing their favourite flowers to deciding exactly where each stem should go, it was a wonderfully relaxing activity filled with conversation, creativity and lots of gorgeous finished arrangements to admire. 😊💐

Residents enjoyed a fun twist on a firm favourite with a brilliant game of Card Bingo! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Everyone kept a close eye on their cards as each one was revealed, with plenty of concentration, anticipation and friendly competition along the way. 😊👏

Activities like this are a lovely way to bring everyone together while encouraging memory, focus and social interaction, all with plenty of fun thrown in too!

Residents at Cornelius House enjoyed a wonderfully creative session of vegetable printing today, turning everyday vegetables into their very own artistic stamps! 🥕🥔✨

With plenty of colourful paint and different shapes to experiment with, everyone had fun creating their own unique patterns and designs. It was a lovely sensory activity too, encouraging creativity, conversation and lots of imagination around the table. 😊🖌️

Residents at Cornelius House enjoyed a lovely yoga session with Kate this morning, taking time to gently stretch, move and relax together. ✨😊

Kate’s sessions are a wonderful way to support mobility, balance and wellbeing, with each resident encouraged to take part at their own pace. There was a calm and positive atmosphere as everyone enjoyed some gentle movement to start the day. 🙌🌸

Residents put their aim to the test with a brilliant Darts Tournament, bringing out plenty of concentration, friendly competition and lots of encouragement from around the room! 🎯👏

There were some fantastic throws, plenty of laughs and, of course, a little competitive spirit as everyone aimed for that all-important bullseye! 😊✨

On the 7th of August, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone at Cornelius House as our wonderful Kathleen turned 90! 🥳✨

There were balloons, birthday treats, plenty of smiles and, of course, some fabulous birthday glasses to mark the occasion in style! 😎🎈🎁

Residents at Cornelius House enjoyed an energising VISO Sport exercise session this morning, getting everyone moving and ready for the day ahead! 🎯😊

Exercise sessions are a wonderful way to encourage gentle movement, coordination and confidence while enjoying plenty of social interaction and encouragement along the way. Most importantly, we always make sure there are lots of smiles and fun too! 🙌✨
