What a lovely experience a few of our residents got to enjoy today!
Our Manager, Talisa, took three of our residents to the Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers, to look at the beautiful installations and arrangements.
The weather on the way there was the only downside, at one point nearly taking our umbrellas ☔️ but we did see a Peregrine Falcon flying overhead on the way out of the Cathedral, which was a real unexpected treat to end a wonderful trip out! 🌹🪻🌺🌸🌼

It's Care Home Open Week from Monday 15th June to Sunday 21st June, and in honour of this, we will be hosting an Open Day on Monday 15th of June!

In a lovely shaded area of the Patio so that residents and staff could keep cool, some of our residents undertook a Gardening Activity, planting Tomato and Strawberry Plants ready for summer! Thank you to Sue and Jaime for assisting them with this! 🌻🌼🪴🌸

Today we held a lovely 'Grease' themed lunch for the residents, followed by a watch of the film in the afternoon, along with Oreo-cookie Milkshakes! 🍨
There was lots of laughter, singing and smiles, and a big thank you to Shelley, Juanita & Peta for the decorations and lovely lunch provided!

Despite the rainy morning, our lovely residents enjoyed a lovely trip out with the fabulous Ellie & Michelle to Brick Kiln Garden Centre, for hot drinks and cake!
The residents also enjoyed wandering around the Garden Centre to look at the plants and flowers too.
We'd also like to say a HUGE thank you to the lovely staff there, who were so helpful to our staff and residents, even replacing a spilt drink free of charge - excellent customer service in action!

What a lovely morning!
An art & craft session that got a bit rowdy...
We went from making our own Eurovision flags, to singing 'Delilah' (a little bit out of tune), but it was worth it to see all the laughter, hugs and smiles!
The best bit was when our lovely resident realised she was on camera....🤣

In honour of David Attenborough turning 100 today, we have been watching some of his amazing nature documentaries, and undertaking a Nature Quiz with Shelley.
We also had a bit of pampering going on whilst the residents participated in the quiz; Thank you to the care staff who did this whilst trying to help answer the quiz!
