✨ Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often called “tapping”, is a gentle mind-body approach that combines focused attention on a specific issue with light tapping on a series of acupressure points on the face and upper body. Many people feel calmer, more grounded and emotionally balanced after a few minutes of tapping.

✨ Tapping is not about forcing positive thinking or making difficult feelings disappear. Instead, it’s about meeting your experience with awareness and compassion while helping the nervous system move toward a greater sense of balance. Every person’s experience is unique.

✨ Try tapping on each point for about 5 seconds, then repeat the cycle a few times. Let me know in the comments how it makes you feel.

✨ In my recent sound bath, I shared a reminder that life is precious, so it’s important that we create the fun, joy and experiences we want rather than waiting for them to appear. So often we put things off for “one day,” but life is happening right now. The moments that make us feel alive are worth making space for.

✨ Wellness isn’t just about health practices; it’s also about embracing what brings us genuine happiness. Give yourself permission to enjoy life, follow your curiosity and make memories along the way. We only get one journey, so let’s not forget to truly live it while we’re here.

✨ If you’ve ever experienced tears during a sound bath, you’re not alone. It’s actually quite common.

✨ My sound baths are intended to be a safe, supportive space where you are welcome to experience whatever emotions arise. Relaxation can sometimes bring unexpected feelings to the surface, and every response is valid.

✨ While I am not a qualified therapist or counsellor, I understand that these experiences can feel significant, and my inbox is always open if you would like to chat about anything that comes up for you. Although I cannot provide therapeutic support, I am happy to listen, offer a compassionate ear and help you find appropriate support if needed.

✨ If you’re feeling irritable, unsettled, overwhelmed or simply fatigued, more rest is likely to benefit your wellbeing. We find it easy to brush aside rest, to power through, emphasising achievement over how we physically feel. But whilst prolonged fatigue and burnout might feel sustainable in the short term, the long term impacts could be more serious on both our physical and mental wellbeing.

✨ Use this weekend to start new habits - set aside time for yourself each day to rest and reset. Sometimes, five minutes is all you have but just five minutes can make a difference.

✨ Everyone’s needs are different. You might sit down on the sofa and enjoy your hot drink instead of drinking it in between jobs. You might spend 5 minutes stood outside (even better if you’re barefoot), soaking in the fresh air and sunshine. You might take a few minutes at the end of the day to connect with a loved one without any distractions.

✨ However you choose to rest, remember to make this a daily habit and you’ll soon start to see the benefits.
