🐇🎩 We were delighted to bring Wonderland to the Christchurch Carnival this weekend 🎩🐇

Our minibus was transformed into a colourful ‘Wonderland on Wheels’, while residents and team members dressed up as much-loved characters 🐰👑

With loved ones joining in the fun, it was a wonderful opportunity for residents and staff to enjoy a special day out together and be part of the wider Christchurch community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a joyful carnival! ❤️

P.S. our Colten Care Wonderland minibus will be travelling around the New Forest over the next few weeks, ready to take part in this year's Brockival with our sister home, Woodpeckers. Keep your eyes peeled, we'd love for you to come and say hello 👀👋

Residents and staff stepped into the wonderful world of Disney for a day filled with favourite characters, songs, stories and memories.

Our staff embraced the theme by dressing as their favourite Disney characters, while residents proudly showed off their homemade Mickey Mouse ears.

There was a Disney quiz, fascinating facts, plenty of much-loved songs and lots of singing along. The afternoon also brought back some lovely memories as residents shared their favourite Disney moments.

And naturally, every Disney celebration needs a sweet ending! Homemade Disney-themed treats rounded off a truly magical day. 🍰✨

A sweet afternoon of memories and chocolate! 🍫

Residents continued our World Chocolate Day celebrations with a fun “Guess the Flavour” tasting challenge, sampling chocolates ranging from strawberry milkshake to pistachio and marzipan.

The activity sparked lots of friendly debate and wonderful memories of favourite sweets from years gone by.

A delicious afternoon filled with laughter, conversation and plenty of chocolate!

☀️🍔 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Barbecue at Avon Reach!

Residents, families, friends, and members of our local community came together for a fantastic afternoon of delicious food, live music from Nigel Revill and plenty of dancing in the sunshine 🎶💃

Our raffle was another big highlight, with one lucky winner taking home a wheelbarrow full of prizes 🎁

Thanks to everyone's incredible generosity, we raised £676.53 for our chosen charity, supporting All Saints' Church, Mudeford and High Cross Church, Somerford 💙

Andy the Magician brought plenty of surprises to Avon Reach this week 🎩✨

Residents enjoyed an afternoon of card tricks, disappearing objects and mind-boggling illusions, with lots of laughter, applause and questions of “How did he do that?” throughout the show.
