🌠 Wish granted from our Wishing tree🌠

Patricia and Helen have been friends for over 25 years.
Many of you may recognise Helen, as she runs our very successful Knitting club.
Both Patricia and Helen often reminisce about their days out to a garden center for an afternoon tea. Where they would look at all the beautiful plants and flowers.

We arranged to grant Patricia's wish by arranging a trip for them to Dobbie's Garden Center to enjoy afternoon tea and some shopping. 🛍🫖🪴💐

Although relatively new to working in care, Nabeel has already made a remarkable impact on both residents and colleagues. His nomination came not only from fellow team members but also from residents' relatives, who have recognised the exceptional level of care, kindness and support he provides every day.

Nabeel is always willing to go the extra mile, regularly picking up extra shifts and lending a helping hand across different departments whenever needed. His positive attitude, dedication, and commitment to delivering outstanding care make him a valued member of the team.

Lauder Lodge resident Sr Margaret is supporting the management team with the current interviews for our receptionist role and is doing a fantastic job!

Activities like this utilise the skills residents have developed throughout their working lives. It enables them to maintain their active minds and lifestyles.

Sr Margaret has been a part of many interviews during her career and she gave Alana (our Business Administration) a few tips.

Residents and staff enjoyed celebrating this wonderful milestone together, with a beautiful birthday cake lovingly made by our talented chef. Wishing Moira a day filled with joy, laughter and many happy memories. 💐✨

Residents always have a wonderful time during our Movement to Music session with Aileen. 🎶💃
The session encouraged gentle exercise, movement, laughter and lots of smiles as everyone joined in at their own pace. Activities like this can help improve mobility, coordination, confidence and overall wellbeing, while also bringing residents together socially in a fun and uplifting way.
Most importantly, our residents thoroughly enjoyed the music, movement and great company! 🌟
