Last month, Euan's Guide Community Manager Joe shut down the Tay Road Bridge while returning from a review trip to Fife.

After making the 1.4-mile crossing to Dundee, he found the lift was not working. The bridge crew held back traffic while Joe transferred from his wheelchair onto the walkway, then back into his chair before exiting the bridge via the road.

Since then, he has been in touch with the Tay Road Bridge team, who listened to his feedback. Check out his video to see the impact it has had and how it has improved things, not only for disabled people, but for everyone who may use the bridge in the future.

Homelands Trust is a Scottish charity based in Lundin Links, Fife, providing accessible self-catering holiday accommodation for disabled people, their families and carers.

The trust operates nine purpose-built lodges designed with accessibility at the heart of every stay, helping people enjoy a relaxing break without the usual barriers that can come with travelling.

Changing Places toilets are amazing... but only if you can find them 💙

Our Community Manager, Joe, recently spent more than 30 minutes trying to track down a Changing Places toilet in Bath because the information available was incorrect. When you need one of these facilities, that isn't just frustrating, it can completely derail your day.

Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK) has released its highly anticipated Accessible EV Europe Road Trip report. Providing a critical look into the current state of public electric vehicle infrastructure, the report serves as a vital resource for advocacy groups, policymakers, and the automotive industry alike.

The data was gathered in May 2026 by DMUK member Anjna Patel and the charity's Marketing & Campaigns Manager, Zoe Rush. The duo travelled nearly 3,000 miles from Birmingham, England, to Torrevieja, Spain, in a fully electric vehicle. Along the route, they audited 24 charging stations across England, France, and Spain, documenting firsthand the immense physical and digital challenges that disabled motorists face daily.

Despite rapid expansions in charging networks across the continent, the journey revealed a stark reality: accessibility remains an afterthought, and every single charging station audited presented an access issue of some kind.
