🌟 What a fantastic Accessible Festival! 🌟

What an incredible way to celebrate 10 years of the Accessible Festival! This year's event was bigger than ever, with an amazing range of activities including sensory experiences, the climbing wall, The Sign Choir, the Healing & Wellbeing Tent, DJ sound booth, boccia, basketball, Adapt-e recumbent bikes and so much more.

KW Therapy Ltd and Prestige Nursing & Care Greater Manchester were delighted to bring the zoo to the festival, with Ted the pony, goats, chickens and rabbits proving a huge hit with everyone. The sun shone, the animals behaved themselves, and smiles were everywhere we looked!

A big thank you to Emily at Complex Case Management Ltd for the hay bales and, once again, to Liz at Happy Hooves Mobile Mini Farm for helping create such a special experience.

Alongside the animals, our ever-popular animal balloons made a return, as well as colouring, headbands, face masks and plenty of other creative activities to keep everyone entertained.

We were also lucky to have the talented Gracie Sim
from KW Therapy, joining us for face painting. By the end of the day, she'd painted what felt like hundreds of dinosaurs, unicorns, paw prints and more!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our area such a success. We are incredibly proud to be part of this wonderful event and to help create meaningful, inclusive experiences that everyone can enjoy.

Special thanks to Ann Pimm whose dedication and hard work make this fantastic festival possible year after year, along with all the volunteers, organisations and supporters who help bring it to life.

What a day, what a celebration, and what an amazing community. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Only a few more days before this wonderful event-Accessible Festival! KW Therapy Ltd alongside Prestige Nursing & Care Greater Manchester and Complex Case Management Ltd are putting on a spectacular family fun area. This includes the petting zoo where people can see different animals and maybe even give cuddles or just a gentle stroke! We also have animal balloons and an activity area with colouring, puzzles and planting seeds!
We can’t wait to see you all!!!

KW Therapy attended and helped out at Headway Central Lancashire Afternoon Tea yesterday and what a wonderful afternoon it was! Many scones were cut and sandwiches filled in preparation.
Many of the members also entered our Bake Off competition with our own Paul Hollywood aka Trevor and Pru aka Charlotte with a guest judge David Collinge (High Sheriff of Lancashire)with our winner earning the coveted Headway Bake Off Apron!!!
Our Headway Choir sang beautifully and got the whole audience joining in! With all this and The Price is Right, it was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!
Headway Central Lancashire support so many people every year from Major Trauma to Neuro Rehab Units and into the community. They turn 16 this year and are such a dedicated team of staff and volunteers passionate in what they do! Well done everyone!
