🐾💜 A Wonderful Dogs for Health Visit! 💜🐾

We were delighted to welcome Penny and her new best friend, Beatrice (BB for short), as part of the fantastic Dogs for Health programme.

BB is an absolute darling and brought so much happiness to everyone she met today. Visits like these are a wonderful reminder of the value of pet therapy. The comfort, companionship and connection that therapy dogs provide can have such a positive impact on wellbeing.

A huge thank you to Penny for bringing BB to visit us each week. Your time, dedication and the joy you both bring are truly appreciated by residents and team members alike.

Today our chefs prepared food from each continent for our residents, relatives, visitors and colleagues to enjoy our Taste of Home celebration.
They worked hard all day to prepare some beautiful food and it was enjoyed by all that came.

☀️ What a fantastic afternoon of sports, games, sunshine, and plenty of laughter with family and friends at our annual Sports Day!

A little inter-floor competition added some extra excitement, with everyone giving it their all. We enjoyed basketball shooting, beanbag throwing, ring toss, and of course the much-loved egg and spoon race.

Congratulations to Poolside Walk, who lifted the cup with the highest points total of the day, closely followed by the other teams in a very competitive contest! 🏆

A special mention goes to our reigning egg and spoon champion, Phil, who successfully defended his title once again! Whether it was pure talent, years of practice, or a little creative thinking, we'll leave that for everyone else to decide... 😄🥚🥄

🎶🌿 An Afternoon of Opera in the Garden at Rossetti House 🌿🎶

Residents and friends at Rossetti House enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of live music in the garden with the talented opera singer Richard Stark.

With the sun shining and everyone gathered outdoors, Richard treated residents to a selection of much-loved operatic favourites, filling the garden with beautiful music. There was plenty of singing along, smiling faces and appreciative applause as residents enjoyed this special performance.

A huge thank you to Richard for bringing such joy, entertainment and elegance to the afternoon. Events like these provide meaningful experiences and create lasting memories for everyone who takes part.

🌞🧺 Picnic by the River 🧺🌞

We are so lucky to be based in beautiful Frome, with Rossetti House sitting right alongside the river and riverside path. With so many lovely spots nearby, it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy a picnic outdoors.

So that's exactly what we did! We packed up a hamper full of delicious goodies prepared by our wonderful kitchen team, added a bottle of wine alongside a selection of soft drinks, and headed off to find the perfect riverside spot.

The sunshine, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and great company made for a fantastic afternoon. It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to get out and enjoy everything our local community has to offer.

A big thank you to our kitchen team for helping make the day extra special! 💛🍓🥪🍷
