When a resident wishes for something, we always try our best to make it happen ❤️

Last week, Ray asked if he could visit STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway, so we organised a minibus trip and invited some friends along too. It’s always wonderful to get out and enjoy a day trip, and we’re so lucky to have the minibus available whenever we need it.

Everyone had a fantastic day exploring the museum, sharing laughs, and making lovely memories together 🚐✨

We were incredibly proud to support Thrive Somerset and their wonderful Centenary CommuniTea celebration here at Rossetti House this week. ☕💙

When Thrive approached us to host their special CommuniTea party, we were absolutely thrilled to be involved in celebrating such an important milestone and the incredible work they do supporting carers across Somerset.

The event brought together local carers for an afternoon of tea, cake, conversation, and connection — a chance to relax, socialise, and feel appreciated for all that they do every single day.

At Rossetti House, we understand how vital carers are, and we are passionate about supporting organisations like Thrive Somerset that provide guidance, support, advice, and opportunities for carers throughout the community.

It was a lovely afternoon and a privilege to be part of such a meaningful celebration. Thank you to everyone who joined us! ✨

Opa! 🇬🇷☀️

Today our Bistro was transformed into a little slice of Greece as we celebrated International Cuisine Day with a fabulous Greek lunch!

Residents welcomed family and friends to join them for one of our regular themed dining events — and what an afternoon it was! From the delicious food to the laughter around the tables, there was such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the Bistro.

Our amazing chefs truly outdid themselves with a spectacular menu that left everyone completely full after the main course… although somehow nobody could resist dessert! 🍰😋

We were delighted to be collecting clean plates all round, which says it all really! Add in the glorious sunshine outside and we could almost believe we were dining on a Greek island by the sea. 🇬🇷💙

A huge thank you to our fantastic kitchen team for creating such a special experience for everyone.
