Cupping isn't just leaving circles. It's about improving circulation and easing muscle tension," says our resident wellness expert. πŸƒβœ¨

Ever notice how two people can do the exact same diet and exercise, yet lose weight at completely different speeds?

We asked Nicola Martin, our Registered Nutritionist, why that happens.
Turns out it's rarely just about willpower. Hormones, sleep, stress, and metabolism all play a part, and Nicola breaks it down in a way that actually makes sense. No fads, no guilt, just honest answers. 🌿

Hours at a desk and poor posture can flatten the natural curve in your neck, which is often what leads to that end-of-day stiffness.
It's a technique we often recommend to patients: lying down with a rolled towel under your neck for a short period. It gently supports that curve and helps your neck muscles relax. It won't fix every type of neck pain, but for posture-related tension, it's a simple place to start.

If your pain sticks around, it's worth getting it properly assessed.

Ever get knee pain when you're out running?

Pain around or behind the kneecap during running, squatting, or using the stairs is often referred to as Runner's Knee, medically known as Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome.

It's one of the most common knee complaints we see in runners, and the good news is that it usually responds well to the right treatment.

The strongest evidence points to strengthening the hips and quads together, rather than simply resting. Combined with gradual training and good running form, most people make a full recovery.

If it's been nagging at you for a while, our physiotherapy team can help get to the root of it, and our Running MOT is a great way to check your form before it becomes a problem.

Knee pain going up or down the stairs? 🦡 Try these 3 simple exercises πŸ‘‡

1️⃣ Controlled Step-Ups β€” slow and controlled, no rushing
2️⃣ Isometric Squat Hold β€” chair or wall, sit your bum back and hold
3️⃣ Lunges β€” keep your knee from going past your toes

Small movements, big difference. Save this for your next flight of stairs πŸ™Œ
