What a fantastic 8 weeks we’ve had, these women have absolutely smashed it as usual! Over the moon with the hard work and effort they’ve all put it on achieving their goals.

Multiple pictures means multiple challenges 🫶 Some incredible ladies I’ve had the pleasure of working with for more than one challenge. Why do back to back challenges? For some they achieve their goals such as fat loss in the first one and want to learn how to maintain these results long term, others love the accountability and motivation aspect a challenge brings them and to others they simply want to push a bit more and boost their progress further! No challenge is ever the same and because they are tailored to you and your goals it’s never the same things twice!

This group has been a pleasure to work with! With a crazy number of inches and lbs dropped between them, strength is through the roof and fitness levels are insane! So proud of them all 💞

One of these lovely people has bagged themselves the £500 cash prize! I will be announcing the winner at the start of next week 🏆🥇

When most women decide they want to lose fat, the first thing they do is add more cardio…
They start running more, doing more classes, anything to attempt to ‘burn more calories’ 😩

BUT here’s what I’d do if I started again today…
I’d stop trying to out-cardio or out calorie burn my lifestyle and focus on the things that actually get you the fat loss results you want:
Consistent strength training just 2 or 3 times a week is enough to see big results!
Protein at every meal (to control hunger and is the biggest key to fat loss)
Daily movement - think getting out for nice walks and getting plenty of steps in instead of random intense bursts!
& the biggest thing… A calorie deficit that doesn’t feel like punishment!!

Cardio isn’t the problem… but relying on it as your main strategy will not help fix the habits!

Most women don’t need more effort. They need a better approach they can actually stick to! I advocate healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes to all my clients.
I help them build a system they can repeat even on busy weeks. That’s where results actually come from 🫶

Most people know they SHOULD stretch, but let’s be real if you only have 30 or 45 mins to train something has to give! And for most people? It’s stretching.

Stretching really is important, I’m really not disputing that! It helps with mobility, reduces injury risk, and improves how you actually feel in your body. But I do fully appreciate that it’s not always realistic to spend 15 minutes on a stretch and mobility alongside a warm up every session - especially if you’re already juggling work, kids, and life. I only programme full stretch and mobility routines for clients who can fully manage and want the addition.

So instead of the “all or nothing” mindset, think of what you can do and when:
- 5 minutes at the end of your workout or run!
- A quick stretch while watching TV or when you’re waiting for the kettle to boil.
- Add a few minutes of mobility into your warm-up

Remember when it comes to anything fitness related something will always be better than nothing ✨

Consistency > perfection. Every time 🤝

It’s not always a perfect workout, sometimes it involves a small Batman eating a lemon sorbet and dancing around the mat 😂

I now film all the home workouts on the 8 Week Transformation Challenges for those who choose to do their sessions at home (gym or a mix of both is also an option!) so they can log and track the session using the app or just follow along from the real time videos! I do full variety of workouts and sessions to suit all fitness abilities and levels. There’s HIIT, circuits, low impact, mat Pilates, core, glutes etc - there’s even bodyweight sessions for those of you with no equipment at home. Every challenge is brand new workout plans for every individual so even if you’ve done a challenge before you will never do the same workout plan!

I also now film the workouts when my children aren’t in the house 🤣🤣
