ak|a are delighted to announce a new Interior Design Service to the practice. Lisa Buchanan joined the Practice in 2023 as Business Administrator and now leads our Interior Design service with an extensive background in the world of interiors and a career spanning multiple aspects of design - from working as an Interior Designer for a local home furnisher specialising in curtains and blinds to delivering full-scale interior design projects tailored to clients’ briefs.

Her breadth of experience gives Lisa a practical, creative approach to every project she undertakes. Passionate about great design, Lisa has a natural talent for creating warm, welcoming spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Her enthusiasm, eye for detail, and genuine love of interiors are evident from the moment you meet her.

Throwback to our recently completed Bogfossie project🏡

Storytime: Annie was approached by the landowner many moons ago. After obtaining the appropriate permissions, the team were able to join the dots, bringing client, design and site together - breathing new life into this stunning site and creating a new home to enjoy! We think the new homeowners are settling in superbly😍
